Mary Louise Outin COLUMBIA - The Homegoing Service for Ms. Mary Louise Outin will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC) with burial in Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Born in Newberry, SC, Mary was the second of ten children born to the late Theopolis and Mary Frances Outin. She passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2013 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. Educated in the public schools of Richland County, Mary received her Bachelor's of Art Degree from Columbia College and a Master's Degree from Lesley University. She enjoyed traveling extensively and loved to take pictures. She was a humanitarian, having done extensive charity work. She was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Columbia College Alumni Association, a Committee Member of the Columbia Housing Authority, and the Greater Columbia Relations Council. Ms. Outin was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Antwan Outin She is survived by her siblings: Nancy Outin, Dorothy Irvin, George Outin, Gerald (Loretta) Outin, Marvin Outin, Joann Jackson, Nathaniel (Patricia) Outin and Betty Outin; 14 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends, all of whom join will miss her dearly.
