Enrouters and Families,

It is with great excitement that Mike/Barbara Jass and myseIf extend a personal invitation to each of you to be a part of a truly historic event. We are in the process of coordinating with the National Park Service to honor our nation in a remarkable way, and I want to ensure all of you have the opportunity to participate.

During the evening Lighting Ceremony at Mount Rushmore, we have the unique privilege of having two of our Enrouters retire our nation’s colors. This ceremony is not just a beautiful sight; it is a moment to reflect on our collective spirit and dedication to our values. Your presence would mean so much, as we come together as a community to celebrate this significant occasion.

Lighting ceremony. The evening lighting ceremony features a short patriotic program and a flag retirement by veterans. This is one of the most moving experiences at the memorial, especially for veterans and their families. Check the park's events calendar for current ceremony times, as they shift seasonally.

America the Beautiful pass. Veterans and Gold Star families can get a free lifetime America the Beautiful pass, which covers the parking fee at Mount Rushmore. You can request one online through the USGS store or pick one up at the park.

If you don't already have a America the Beautiful pass, I would like to suggest you get one.
