My identical twin sister, Marilyn, and I had fun playing tricks sometimes by switching places with each other. It could be on the phone, in class, and yes, sometimes with a new boyfriend.

Nothing. I loved high school, did my best most of the time, made great friendships and followed a career path to become a teacher.

OK, I could have challenged myself more and got better grades.

In a word, I love all things creative. I belong to a Bunco group that meets once a month. I love to entertain and enjoy every phase of planning, shopping, cooking and socializing that goes with it. My home and my garden are my artist pallets and are constantly changing.

My motto in life has been; "Don't Sweat the Teenies"
This expression started in my BHS days as my parents pointed out to me and has worked quite well.
However the driving habits of some in the Washington, D.C. can test ones patience.

After graduating from Geneseo I traveled to
San Miguel De Allende, Mexico where my sister was living and studying art.
In 1987 I took the trip of my dreams. I traveled with my father, Dutch born and raised in the Netherlands, to Europe to meet my extended family for the first time. I can't express how moving this experience was for me.
