Hired 1967 by US Forest Service retired from US Forest Service 2001
Worked as Wildland hydrologist- water rights, watershed restoration, water quality/ yield protection. Worked in Land and Resource Management Planning, budget development and allocation. Wrote policy and developed program practices and procedures for watershed protection involving up to 20 million acres of public domain lands.
Worked in 3 Regions, on 3 National Forests, 2 Ranger Districts and 2 Regional Offices. I worked in 6 different states in the western USA.
Military-- MOS 1331 Combat Engineer. Company Commander in USA. Installation engineer assigned to 101st Airborne Firebase Evans Vietnam Nam

I always thought it fun to try and avoid ( run around) Kermit Ambros during Cross Country practice. He never knew if we were practicing or loafing. The proof came at an actual meet.
I enjoyed Art Del Verio's (sp?) history. Being a WW II vet we really lived that 1940's segment of history with no text book needed.
I can't recall the name of the frizzy haired English teacher who spent every waking minute checking people for hall passes or shouting out the minutes until class started. How she ever found time to teach is beyond me.
