Donald Pitchforth

Served 6 years in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1980
Served two and a half years on the USS Worden based in Japan
Served 3 years at Mount Santa Rita communications station the the Philippines
Worked in Telecommunications for 38 years since then. Starting as a field engineer and advancing to Manager of Transmission Engineering. Then finishing as a senior optical Systems design Engineer.

Retired now in Saint George Utah.

Learned advanced Electronics in the Navy
Attended several schools during and after my service including 2 years at University of Utah. Never earned a degree.
Was privileged to lead a group of engineers at MCI/Verizon for 10 years.
Have worked with all of the major Network Equipment suppliers over the years and seen many of the advances that are experienced by everyone today.
