Suzette Gustine (Moore)

Larry and I are celebrating 38 years of wedded bliss tomorrow.(Yes, miracles do happen. I'm sure people bet money on how long we would stay together when we got married.) We are going on a mini-vacation to the Hill Country for 2 days. We hope to see the fall color in Lost Maples State Park, if all the leaves haven't fallen yet. We're coming back home on Wednesday so I can make Thanksgiving dinner for my daughter's family and us. I haven't checked in on the message forum in a while, but it's always nice to catch up on you guys. Have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope all of you get to spend time with the ones you love.

There is a sweet little guy at Brannen who needs our prayers.
Please read below.

Hello Everyone,
I have a very special prayer request. One of Christian's friends, Peyton (7) has a terminal brain tumor. He is now transitioning from BISD to hospice care. This is a very difficult time for everyone who knows him. He is a very sweet little boy we know through Boy scouts. Our church has provided him with a prayer pager. Every time someone calls, it will vibrate, and he will know that someone is thinking of him and praying for him. It would be wonderful if this pager went off all the time. The number is (979) 239-0357. When you call, there will be three beeps. Enter your zip-code and press#. Peyton will get a page with the zip code. We want him to know that people near and far are praying for him. Please help us "blow this pager up." And please, forward this to anyone who might like to help a little boy know how much he is loved.
Thanks,

Joe, thank you for your testimony. So many of us need to hear success stories. I'm so thankful that God has delivered you and you are willing to be His voice in lending hope for others. Thank you for sharing and may God richly bless you.

Thank you Judy for all you have said. I hope all of my old classmates and friends have a Blessed Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for. my prayers are for the homeless, men and women in war, and for those who do not know the blessings God has in store for them when they turn to him and call on his name and ask him to come into their heart. What a blessful feeling when God heals our heart and we become anewed by his presence in our lives. When I became a born again Christian my life was ever changed by God's healing spirit. That does not mean that the trials of fire do not occur. It just means we are being refined. It does not mean we will not sin but that we are forgiven by his grace and mercy. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is truely a time to share what you have with family friends and strangers. Years ago my brothers and I went out and invited a homeless man to my family's house(parents house in Lake Jackson) for Thanksgiving. It was a blessing for all of us.

I think it would really be cool for us to remember and share some of our Thanksgiving memories and things we are thankful for.

Love all and mean it in God's Love

Thank you Joe for the compliment. I am a man after God's own heart. I am so thankful that God knows my name. I'm thankful to Jesus for sacrificing his life for me, and I thankful that the Holy Spirit is the power inside of me. I have been set apart for His service. He has given me a gift of intercession for the lost of this world.

Joe, I appreciate you for standing strong for the gospel as well. Our classmates have become a class of prayer warriors. God is a good God. I know he has a plan for each and everyone of us.
May God bless you and your family. I also wish you a very happy Thanksgiving, and be safe if you are traveling anywhere.

We got back from the Hill Country on Wednesday. Awesome! I envy you guys that live there. We stayed in Comfort and drove all over. Lost Maples is a beautiful place to visit and hike. Nobody told me that the 4.6 mile trail was so rocky and steep. A 61 year old with a bad back and a 58 year old with heel spurs made it though and we feel quite accomplished. Hope to go back soon. I made Thanksgiving dinner today for my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Karley is spending the night tonight so her mom can get up early and hit the sales. That's not for me. Tonight Karley and I decorated the Christmas tree and tomorrow we'll do the outside. We'll be going to bed soon where we'll read as many stories as she can stay awake for. We call it our Gramma Suzy & Karley slumber party. Tomorrow morning Larry will make ham and pancakes for breakfast. It's the "small things" in life that truly matter. Two Christmases ago my mom was with us and she and Karley danced around the living room while we decorated the tree. Momma was connected to oxygen then and it looked a little silly, but the most memorable moment was when Karley said "I just love it here." She's with us quite a bit, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Even though she lives near her other grandparents, she doesn't stay there often, so she doesn't feel as comfortable there.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful for all I have -- my family, my friends, my freedom! God has blessed me beyond what I could have ever imagined. Love to all!

BEAUTIFUL, Suzette, thanks for the images. Girl, have those heel spurs removed! I only had one but it was like walking on a large chunk of glass. If I had one tomorrow, I'd have it removed at least by the next day!

For those of you who are not on Facebook, please keep Dee Ann (Trout) Glenn and family in your prayers.

Here's her post, "Tom's dad, John D. Glenn passed away yesterday (Saturday). Some of our facebook friends might remember him as principal of A.P. Beutel Elementary in Lake Jackson. He was a wonderful father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved people and he loved life. He was loved and will be missed so much."

Hi Everyone...back home from LA, and Santa Barbara! We had a great time at Thanksgiving! GOD has blessed me with wonderful sons! I am seeing the light at the end of a long, dark tunnel with my son Nathan. He is over the top intelligence, but has a drug/ alcohol addiction. He has it all good looks, personality, and a smile to light this world! I have prayed for years, and now I am seeing a change! Thank you GOD...I am keeping my fingers crossed, holding my breath, and praying, praying praying!
The family GOD has blessed me with is my greatest treasure! I appreciate your prayers, because it will be GOD alone that changes Nate.

Joe...GOD bless you for your encouragement, and I know what you have dealt with. There is no one that asks for the addiction gene...you suffer...everyone does! You are a GREAT man of GOD.

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!! I cannot believe that Christmas is almost here! Have a great time at the Christmas party...I will be partying here in Austin and Lubbock!!! My little girl, Jolie is so adorable! She wants a "pink" Barbie jeep from her Nanny! I bought her the Monte Carlo SS last year, and she is a great driver!!! Who has more fun? Me or Jolie??? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very sorry to hear about the little boy with a brain tumor. I will call, and pray for him...his family. Please GOD give us a cure for cancer.

Tom and Dee Ann...I am very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great man. I can still remember him smiling at me at A.P. Beutel! My Mom was the PTA president, and she thought he was such a great man!!! Tom...you are so much like him!!!! GOD bless, and comfort you.

Marian...how is your Mom? Thank you for your sweet message on Facebook! Love you girl!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
GOD bless you and yours.
Love,
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS thanks for all the Facebook friend invites!!!! It is so fun knowing how you all are doing!!!! Yipppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

You girls are real sweethearts!! Thank you and I want to wish happy birthday and blessings to all through the holidays. Remember the homeless they need our love and a warm meal. Times are hard but it is harder on those without warmth, shelter and some warm clothing. In God's love to all.

It was a rough night...the dog, Kobe squealed all night, the cat Jinxy thought I was his pillow, and he weighs at least 20 pounds. The cat Lamour...meow, meow, meow all night!!!!!! Wake up this morning Kobe tries to eat Jinxy...me chasing him...trip over the ottoman...Jinxy runs and hides under the pool table, and wants to eat me because he doesn't want to go outside. Cats just ignore me!!!!! I outsmarted him with some food, because he is a hefty eater!!! I come out the door with him...the wreath falls off the front door, and I smash it, but put it back up there anyway! I was so stressed went for a 2 hour massage! I love people, but ya'll keep the pets!!! Janie said that I should warn people that I am not a good pet sitter! This is another story, and not my fault....okay...okay I am just better with people!!!!! Love you people! JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
