This is the obituary for Mark and Pam McMullen Freeman's daughter. There is an on-line guest book address at the end.

Lindsey Freeman Gamez, age 30, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend left this world suddenly on Saturday, December 19th, 2009. Lindsey was a gift to all those that knew and loved her. Although her time on this earth was too short she leaves behind a family, husband Matt and son Callum. Her love of life, energy and sense of humor affected everyone that met her and will always be remembered. She was a graduate of Sam Houston State University and Taft High School and looked forward to her love of teaching. She survived by her husband Matt and son Callum, mother and father Pam and Mark Freeman, sister Stevie, niece Savanah, brother Tyler, and in-laws Troy Montes, Julie, Eddie and Jared Gamez. Thanks to all the family and friends for all of their love and support. We will love our Lindsey forever and will always keep her in our hearts. Visitation will be held for Lindsey on Tuesday, December 22nd from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 12:00 noon, gravesite service to follow. Services will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemeteries on 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, Texas 78230. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Callum R. Gamez Benefit Fund at Frost Bank. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.

Merry Christmas to all of you 1969 Exporters!! Getting re-acquainted with ya'll has been the best gift I received in 2009. God bless each of you mightily. May the Lord grant you the desires of your heart.

I pray especially for Mark and Pam during this season of trial and sorrow. May the Lord's Holy Spirit draw near to them with heavenly comfort. I pray also for comfort for Mary with the loss of her Mom. I pray for Colleen's healing and for strength to be given to her spirit, soul and body. I pray for each of you who are struggling with the Christmas blues for whatever reason.

May all of your souls be filled with gladness, peace that passes understanding, and joy unspeakable as we celebrate the advent of Christ Jesus the Savior of us all. Peace and blessings for the New Year in Jesus Name! Take care my friends!

I just had a note on facebook from Melissa McKinney Olson. I will post part of it here.

"We had a weird Christmas this year as our motorhome caught on fire in our hangar and nearly burned the house down on December 12. The coach is a total loss and we had about $600,000 damage to the hangar/house. Luckily our neighbor woke up about 2 am and smelled the smoke and managed to wake us up but by that time fire was shooting out of the top of the hangar. It looks like we will be in a hotel for about 3 months so that repairs can be done. So both Christmas and New Years feels very strange this year."

I know you will keep Melissa and Bill in your prayers.

I know I'm a little late posting a response to the videos - been busy, had surgery, etc., but wanted to thank you Carrol for posting the Il Divo video - I'm a huge fan and got to see them in person when they came to Houston (last!) year! They are so AWESOME, with such beautiful voices and harmonies! Simply can't be beat! Could we get them on the cruise? I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year! I can't believe it's 2010! Also, my son is back in the USA!

Dear Melissa...so sorry to hear about the fire! That is terrible, and I do know what you are going through. Our house was struck by lightning twice in 1990 and burned to the ground....but GOD got me and the boys out of the house before it completely torched. When things like this happen you realize that GOD did protect you and your family. My husband was in Japan on business, and returned to a huge mess, but so thankful his family was alive!! I am sorry, and is there anything I can do for you Melissa, and your family? GOD bless you, and I praise HIM for you are safe and alive! Love, JOY!!!

Did everyone see my adorable granddaughter on my profile in her Christmas dress?!!!! We had a great Christmas, and New Year...danced until the wee hours of the morning!!

I have lost 50 pounds on the Adkins! Janie will put my pictures on my profile soon! I feel great...I feel great! Janie has lost 25, and we both are determined to beat blubber!!! Life is a huge project!!! I am trying to be fit, and finish up the diet in 2010!

I want to ask you all to pray for my sweet friend Colleen Brousard...she looks great, and we just had a luncheon on Wednesday! We did Faces of Joy facials...and my sweet friends Kathy Poehl, Dee Ann Glenn, and Colleen look great....I think I took 10 years off their faces!!! They are beautiful women inside and out!!!!!

My WORD for 2010 is LOVE....so know one thing that I LOVE YOU!!!! You are special, and GOD has made you in HIS OWN IMAGE...which really makes you extra special!!!!

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's JOY...about to go zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, but wanted to write ya'll first!
I was so sorry to hear about Glenn Mallory. I know this is a huge loss to his family, but he has now seen the #1 Attraction in Heaven...JESUS! WOW! One day we will all be face to face with HIM..OUR SAVIOR! I will cry tears of "joy"!!!! May GOD comfort Glenn's family, and may they have peace knowing that he is happy, and without suffering.

Carrol, I sure will try to cheer up Melissa...bless her heart! I can honestly say my house being struck by lightning was a wake up call that our LORD is in charge, and not me or my husband. We had many life changing tribulations, and when we do we need to all understand that what doesn't kill you makes you strong and builds the character that GOD wants you to have. Remember he is preparing you for Heaven, and that is what this life is about! We are Heaven bound, and he will mold us...stretch us...strengthen us, and oh yes humble us so that we will depend on HIM. I live on Humble Cove so I never forget where I have come from!!! hahahaha...didn't even know the name of the street until I bought the house!!! I can truly say that I am thankful to HIM for loving me so much that he was changing me to become more like HIM...so we will fit in...in Heaven! Hope this makes sense...eye lids are sagging.... almost shut!!!!

Oh, have I told you all lately how thankful I am that we have reconnected after 40 years! Some of you I haven't seen for 40 years! Some for 30 years! It is a great blessing to me, and I want to thank you all so much for the hard work you did to make it all possible!!! Be sure to join Facebook, and we can keep in touch on a daily basis!!!!

Well, I am going to have a new hair do on Friday, and my hair has not been this short for a few years...oh not that short...just a flip like I wore in high school!!! hahahahaha...I am re-living my childhood...might as well look the part!

I signed Miss Jolie up for dancing today! I think I will get me one of those pink tu-tu's and start dancing. You know I took tap and ballet growing up, and always gave my husband dance recitals. I am sure he thought...what have I married??!!!!!hahahahahaha...One crazy woman...oh well it is fun!!!! Yippppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeee

Ya'll be sure to pray for our sweet Alice...she is preaching in Seoul, Korea in 2 feet of snow! She will do a great job, and we are so proud of you Alice!!!! What a beautiful woman you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I leave you with this thought tonight that I told Alice....people don't want to know how much you know, but only how much you truly care about them. We can change alot of lives just loving and taking up each others burdens. Just a kind word, and a smile goes along way! I am going to try this tomorrow with the tv repairman...definitely needs love because he is one of those that is harder to love!!!!!!! Hey, I am going to give him some of those chocolate kisses that I keep staring at!!!!

LOVE is my word for 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD has plans for me to pour it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
