There wasn't anything worth taking in my purse-I think I had $10 in it. Most folks know I have nothing of value to steal.

Jerri and Brian-Thank you so much for allowing us to invade your lovely home Saturday nite. It was a lovely
party if not a bit loud, but everyone had a great time!

I had such a great time Saturday night stealing all of Carrol's "special prescious" gifts. (oh yeah the boat parade was pretty good too).
Gerry Sue is a sneaky little thing. There is no way I would have traded the bottle of wine back if I had known it would wind up at Carrol's house (I got in trouble cause Sallye likes wind chimes much better than wine) so you see it was all Gerry Sue's plan all along (I heard a rumor that she just could not stand the sound of Carrol's continuous wailing and woe is me anymore)
Jerri was so kind to offer thier home for this festive occsion and it was so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Thank you Jerri.
I'm so looking forward to the 60th birthday cruise and hope that many more of us can attend as well.

DITTO TO ALL!!!! The party was great. The hosts' were appreciated by all (their home really set the spirit) and the classmates there were wonderful. We missed the ones that did not make it and we prayed for all our class. I felt like I was a teenager again. I did get alittle nervous when Carrol told me to raise up my shirt. She felt the boaters would throw us beads, lol. That would have been a site where it would had made everyone sick! I love Carrol and partying with her is great! I couldn't imagine her not being a part of us. But.....I did not take her pillow. I bought the pillow and they actually had another one, if I wanted one. Poor John Devens and me!!! I know the guilty party but will never reveal the name. (OK person, you owe John and me lunch) Betty Ann it's ok you calling me Hanny. I haven't been called that since I became grown. (Ouch) Maybe that helped me feel young again. Thanks
Betty Ann. We really enjoyed Sally. I love you all and can't wait for us to get together again! God Bless You and Happy Holy Days.

When doing your Christmas cards, take one and send it to this address: A Recovering American Soldier c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue NW; Washington, D.C. 20307. If we pass this on, think of how many cards these wonderful special people would get. My sweet niece put this idea out on facebook and I think it's a terrific way to say thanks!

It was a wonderful evening at Jerri and Brian's on the river. Alice, what were we laughing about???? Thanks Jerri, for offering your lovely home for the party. A hilarious time was had by all. Betty, did you say that the wine DID go home with Carol? That bottle got around!!

Marvin, thanks for the lovely poem about Christmas and the gift we can give our Lord. Let's honor the Lord by keeping in our hearts the real reason for the season. Have a blessed Christmas, everyone!

It is so cool all of ya'll had so much fun!!! The pictures tell the story!! I also want to say Happy Birthday in advance to Freddie, Tommy, Gerry Sue and Gary. May God bless you all with the desire of your heart.May we all join in prayer for those who have not, that their prayers be answered. God has blessed us with so much. Here in Cleburne the homeless abound in greater numbers than I remember in times past.

I DO NOT have the wine. I had it about 7 seconds and someone stole it. I THINK Janice ended up with it because I remember asking if I could have the cute box it was in (no, Janice wouldn't even share her trash). I have the red pillow (which is mine LEGALLY - my name is written on the back in indelible ink now) and the wonderful windchimes. MARIAN, YOU ARE PROTECTING A THIEF. I KNEW YOU PEOPLE ON THE BACK ROW KNEW WHO DID IT!!! See, you DID owe John an apology, if you had just told me who did it, I wouldn't have been so suspicious of John . . . except his 'theory' was so very, very lame.
Not sure how the windchimes got here - a conspiracy of some kind. Once they are hung, they are mine and I protect my property - I'm just sayin'.

Ditto on the wonderful time on Saturday at Jerri and Brian's beautiful home. I would also like to know what Alice was laughing about---
Carrol I did not hide the pillow from you and I don't know who did but it was sure funny.... I'm glad the pillow made it to your house safely even though we got a little lost coming home.. I should have tied a string to remember the way out!!!
I wish everyone having a birthday in December a wonderful day, we aren't getting older we are getting BETTER!!!!!
Remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!

Just ask the Holy Spirit who took the pillow and the wine. There is one thing for sure He never lies. HAHA!!

Carol, I traded Betty the wine for the windchimes. She took it home as far as I know. Maybe she'll let you have the box that you wanted. I actually came home with nothing....except my sweet hubby....and that's all I wanted anyway!

Alice Day (Smith)

I love you Gerry Sue! We had fun as teenagers, and now in our old age we are having fun again. Have a GREAT BIRTHDAY WEEK. Not just a day, celebrate all week.

I was laughing at the way Janice made some statement. I honestly can't even remember what she said, but the way she said whatever it was, made me laugh, and I couldn't stop. Anyway, the Bible says, "A merry heart does good like a medicine." So we laughed, enjoyed, ate, prayed, and had lots of fun, didn't we?

I can vouch for the fact that Carrol LOVES that pillow. When we got to her home, she hugged and held it for the entire time we talked....which was about 3 hours. AND yes, it didn't leave her house when I left for Houston the next day. LOL

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE. You are loved!!!
