Carrol Reneau (Jeffers)

I received this email last week from Betty Beck.  I spoke with her Thursday a.m. and she was in good spirits and having a good day.  She can have visitors one at a time when she is up to it.  No food or flowers.  She expects to have her bone marrow transplant Wednesday, I think she said.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Today I enter the hospital for 8-10 days of intensive Chemo and on April 4th will receive a bone marrow transplant.  If it grafts (takes hold) and works to re-build my blood system and I am tolerating it well then I may get to go to our Houston apartment within 15-30 days.  Once there I will stay for another 90-120 days depending on how well my body tolorates the new cells.
I'll take all of the prayers and good thoughts you can give me and know that I think of each of you everyday.  I've asked God for strenth to carry out his will.

Love and kind thoughts to all of you.  You can email  me at beckba01@gmail.com

Hello Beautiful Class of 1969!

I see where you are all just as funny, giving, supportive and loving as always.  Judy C. Thanks for posting your "experience" !  I haven't laughed that hard in years.  I see where you had a fun get together at Christmas. I wish I was close enough to see some of you around the area or at some of your fun events. You have a lot of hard and dedicated classmates that make things happen.  My class (68) is having a get together next month and I'm so disappointed I won't be able to make it.  Maybe some of you can. Check our site.

The idea of a Class Ministry is so awesome!  We are all at that age that we can use a helping hand from time to time...even if it is just to "talk".  Again, wish I was closer I would be "all in" on that one.

So many losses lately.  I lost my mom in Ocotober and life just isn't quite the same and I can tell it never will be.  Thanking God for good memories of a wonderful mom.  Always knew when she was alive that someone always had my back and my best interest at heart.  My sympathy and prayers go out to those of you that have lost loved ones or wonderful friends in 2011 and 2012.  (Acutally, anytime, but thought this time frame is the most fresh on most of our minds).

Happy 2012. Our lights are going out!

Hey, classmates-we are trying to get together this Saturday for dinner.  Tentative plans are to gather at

Chili' s in Lake Jackson at 7pm.  I will call tomorrow to see if we can get the private room.  I will post more

as soon as I have definite plans.  We hope as many of our local people can come and have a good time.

As I get older, I realize the importance of keeping in touch with those that we grew up with and have so many

memories with as well as make new memories with new friends.   Please come if you can.

Ok-talked to the Chili's manager.  We are set up for a table or more in the private room Saturday night at 7pm.  Let me know if you are coming so I can give him a number.  See ya Saturday!

F.Y.I. alert without details. If you are going to sprinkle cayenne pepper ALL OVER the backyard to discourage, oh, say, your pet, from digging up every dang thing, don't wear flip flops. If you do wear them, don't put on socks and tennis shoes WITHOUT rinsing your feet first. I'm not nearly as smart as I used to think. I think I need my mother.

Missed the Chili's plan!  I went to dinner with Susie and her friend and she mentioned it.  Thought I hadn't been invited!  Hope y'all had a great time.   But we did run into to Dan Pyka - we've actually run into him a couple of times lately.  He said Mike Moody is not well at all.   I don't know what that means but am sorry to hear.

Just been texting Betty Beck and here's her status ( she did have a bone marrow transplant):

Ok today. Waiting for numbers to come back up any day now

Judy Teague (Crenshaw)

I must confess that I have gotten lazy lately and have only been checking my fb account to keep up with my peeps.  I got on this today and found out I had been missing important news.  I am so sorry to hear about Becky B.  I promise to do a better job of keeping up.

By the by, is there going to be a get together in June?  I will be in TX visiting parents and would love to see some folks.  I normally don't get that far south (they are in Fairfield).  But would come if I knew something was going on.

Wanda Leonard Jones tried to post this but I had to help

I recently moved to Charleston, South Carolina to help setup a new manufacturing site for Boeing 787s. I recently purchased a condo and I guess I am staying a while. I miss Lake Jackson and hope to return to Texas when I retire.

If you have not seen the movie "2016", please do so. Our future is now and our kids face some strong uphill issues. Go vote in November. Hope everyone is doing well. Football season is almost here.

The movie 2016: Obama's America is definitely a movie everyone needs to see.

I read this blog response on businessinsider.com and thought it was worth sharing. Matthew Chapter 24

Leftists, Rightists....your all the problem with this country, thinking one side is better than the other. That's what the people in power want, is for the common people to fight with each other like high school kids and not pay attention to the things that are really going on in the country. Guess what, they are doing a great job at it. They are the same, when it comes to the big picture they want the same things, they may not act like it when they are on TV but that's how it is. People just want to watch TV and act like they know things about politics...GROW UP, homework doesn't stop just because you are out of school. It doesn't matter which side you vote for, we haven't had a real president since Kennedy and he was close to repealing the federal reserve act of 1913...he was just days away from signing it (main reason he was killed IMO along with Andrew Jackson. Every president we have had that has fought against the central banks has been assasinated... Woodrow Wilson shortly after signing the bill in 1913 greatly regretted it and feared what would happen to this country. Do some research, the Federal Reserve is who really controls this country and they take orders from the international banking families and have since the bill was passed in 1913. It was one of the main reasons we fought the revolutionary war was to be free of the Central Bank of London and its outrageous taxes and print our own money. Our founding fathers would be sick to see where this country has gone. Thomas Jefferson said that he feared the Central Banks more than standing armies. People need to wake up before it's to late, xxxx,it almost is to late as it is. We are heading for some major downturns in this country and a major police state, FEMA camps, DHS, ect. Do some research on the major banking families, Rothschilds, Morgans, and from industry Rockafellar (however you spell it) over the last 200 years and then try saying that everything is peachy in this country and people that talk like this are just conspiracy theorists. Why do you think they want to stop teaching children about history in schools??? People that think things are just great in this country and nothing bad will ever happen here are the nutcases that are just too arrogant and ignorant to take the time to do any research on these topics and just listen to the guy on CNN, NBC, ect that say we are the crazy ones and agree with them, well guess what, do some research on the people that own all the major networks that most Americans get their news from and maybe your eyes will open a little bit to the real world we live in. I hear so many people say well things aren't that bad in this country, blah blah blah. Well you know what, I'm sure the Jews in Germany said the same thing before the Holocaust, and the people of Italy before Moussalini, and the people of Russia before Stalin and Lenin. WAKE UP PEOPLE, if not for yourselves do it for you childrens and grand-childrens sake!!! If these elitists are able to continue their plans unhindered, all the human rights violations of the last 100 years will be nothing compared to what is to come!!!

I read this blog response on cnn and thought it worthy to share:

"Well, we lost. Now is not about him anymore. His next four years are not about him as, when he finishes, he will be automatically retired and off the politics, and going into history. Now is about America.
Someone said, I don't remember who, that the first four years are about reelection, the second term is about legacy.
I am a Republican, since before I was born. I believe that government must be minimum, that we shouldn't have any kind of welfare or safety net, I believe that people that cannot pay for their own food, their own housing, their own healthcare, they shouldn't have it for free. Was that way when capitalism began, and was that way when it worked: only the strongest would survive. I am far right, a Tea Party militia commander, and my political views are totally opposite of the President Obama.
But, I am American, and I am tired of fighting my brothers and sisters, my fellow Americans, no matter if they are red or blue. So, President Obama, this time, I won't be a sore loser. Our country needs more from me. Our country needs us to be working together for the good of us all. We need to recover. Because we need America back. And the world also needs America strong, as China is growing its tentacles over Africa, South America, and now Europe, through Portugal. That way, I say: President Obama, I will oppose you, yes, because I can't agree with your political views. But, that will be a different kind of opposition. The give-no-quarter politics will change, and I am here to cooperate with you, if you give yourself to the fight for America reconstruction. I will be waiting, President. Do what is best for my beloved America, and I will be right by your side, fighting alongside you. We need you to be stronger and decisive or we will die as a country".

Author unknown

Christian first American second is my response.Give unto God what is Gods and give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars. May we as a people, pray God's will  be done in earth as it is in heaven Forgive me of my sins as I forgive others of theirs. May our heavenly Father bless our nation.

Joe
