So sorry to report that Barbara Pavlicek Mohler lost her valiant battle with ovarian cancer.  Her obituary is posted In Memory.  Barbara was married to Roddy Mohler of the BHS C/O 1968.

Such sad news about Barbara- She was truly a FIGHTER= Every time I saw her she was "going to get better." I saw her decline but she had such a positive attitude. I know her girls & Roddy will be lost w/out her. I will truly miss seeing her & hearing her upbeat attitude towards everyone & everything. Rest In Peace Barbara-- you gave it EVERYTHING YOU HAD- My heart is SO SAD to lose this dear friend  Prayers & Blessings for her family.

I met Mike Moody in 9th grade.  We" went stead" for a "long time" (months, ha), but in high school I quit seeing him.  He was very possessive, now I appreicate that, at the time, it was difficult.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always kind to me.  I saw Sherri Moody at the last reunion at Kenny Kayes' house and she said, "Mike just left, You missed him, but maybe if you hurry you can catch him.  He isn't doing well and has been on dylasis."  I turned and rushed to the parking lot, but did not see him.  Seconds, just seconds away.  Mike called me almost every year of my life.  That first love,  how strange it is to loose it forever.  Sherri knew he called me and so did his other wives.  My heart aches that I did not ever get to tell him how much he had always been a part of me. Now a part of me is gone forever.

GIRLS, every month we have a Girlie Girlfriends Luncheon somewhere in the Brazosport Area!  These luncheons are for all classes of both BHS's!  We are a crazy bunch of funny, friendly, God-faring, gals that love one another for who we are and NOT for what we have!  Happy happy happy!  I will let you guys all know when and where our next one will be!  Please come join us.  As the people in our classes decline....we seek solace with each other.  So many of us grew up together.........lets spend happy times that way in our later years!  With love for all......Cyn!  xoxoxoxoxo
