Yes, Glenn is the one who said it. I laughed but I made careful note of that one...he is on my new hit list. I am feeling of my chin as I write....

Glenn -
Sorry, I don't handle toxic torts. I couldn't represent these women anyway. I don't know if you noticed, or not, but I probably couldn't get a word in edgewise.
Boy, all of a sudden they came alive. It's like Joy turned a snake loose in a hen house. The cackling started didn't it?

Dee,
Something has really got them off the roost. I was kind of hoping they would save and decorate the mask's and wear them around there necks to the reunion so we will be able to recognize them, and also be able to see the 10 years of change. My wife wanted to try this, I convinced her that caulk works just as good. Since we are in the hen house I will not dignify the plucking thing. Better stop now for fear of stepping in more chicken stuff and having egg on my face.

Thanks to my sister Susie, I think I have the words to BOTH the AP Beutel AND the Lake Jackson Junior High School songs!!! Susie just called. She was staring out the window of her (Bank of Montreal) office in Chicago, and she said the words to the LJJH song just came to her:
"On Lake Jackson, for there's a game to win and you can bet we'll win it, Rah Rah Rah
On Lake Jackson, we want you all to know we're proud we're in it, Rah Rah Rah
On Lake Jackson, for we will carry on to victory
We're gonna fight fight fight
With all our might might might
And we'll go on Lake Jackson, you'll see"
Susie was the back of the panther (Janet Gillenwater was the front)her eigth grade year, and so maybe that explains how she remembered all the words.

Here is what Susie thinks is the Beutel school song:
Give a cheer for Beutel, the school for you and me
Rah Rah Rah for Beutel, suits us to a T
Sing a song of Beutel, for it will stand the test
When you cheer for Beutel, you know you cheer the best
Spell out the school we love so well:
B-E-U-T-E-L
(and then you can repeat ad nauseum)

I'm still thinking there might have been another verse of the Beutel song, but this is the best I can come up with for now.

LOL!!!! Hilarious...but I am so proud of you girls!!!

Carol...Like Mother like daughter!!! I was wondering did Mrs Lovett have any offspring?

Cyndie...you can get jojoba oil at Whole Foods, and I use the organic jojoba oil...Now this is to be mixed with the exfoliator enough to make it pasty. You will scrub with the exfoliator for one to two minutes depending on your skin sensitivity. Baking soda is also excellent for whitening your teeth. After facial cleansing I use a very small amount of jojoba oil on my face, neck, and chest as a moisturizer... I also mix it with my body lotion, and spread from head to toe!!! You can make your own body scrub with brown sugar, jojoba oil, and your favorite fragrance in liquid... equal amounts of sugar and oil..fragrance to your disgression. You can find these at Whole Foods. I like lavendar essential oil. Remember when using the Neutrogena exfoliator...once a week depending on your skin sensitivity.

Program: Scrub with Neutrogena exfoliator (batteries included) once a week using your favorite cleanser with it. You will cleanse your face twice each morning and twice each night only using the exfoliator one time that day. You may be able to use the exfoliator several times a week depending on your skin condition. Remember you must get off the dead skin so that it can breathe oxygen, and your products will penetrate the skin. Also, another good exfoliator you can purchase at CVS is Olay regenerist. You can use this if you don't want to mix the salt, baking soda, and jojoba oil. The Olay is $29.00, but will last you a year. The salt in the mixture might be irritating to some with sensitive skin.

After cleansing apply egg and oatmeal (without sugar) Leave it on your face until it dries. You face will feel like a baby's bottom...unless you have more dead skin.
Skin care...cleansing two times a day, exfoliating as often as necessary to remove dead skin without irritating, massaging in upward strokes pushing in and up to stimulate muscles, and then weekly mask. Include steaming once or twice a week with steam towels (I use prefolded diapers from Walmart..they are easy to wet and put on the face) depending on your skin...oily more, dry less. Use toner..Rose water or Dermalogica...stay away from alcohol toners. Moisturize with products for your skin type as not to clog hair follicles Be sure to always use your sunscreen.! Ladies... what type of face make up are you using? Any questions feel free to write or call me (817) 307-2929! Also, I went to Europe a few years ago on this tour...had the time of my life! I met so many ladies going through so much, and I gave them facials on the bus with bottled water!!! LOL!!! This one from Australia had 45 years of dead skin! She did not even look like the same person after my facial!!! Her own husband didn't recognize her!!! LOL..He was so happy!
Sorry guys...didn't mean to let the snake out!!! LOL
You know what...you men will love the pampering!!! You wives have a spa party with facials, massage, and foot rub with peppermint foot cream...your husbands will melt!! Dee proud of you...you will fill so much better after your facial.. I told you people that what I do is life changing...FACE OF JOY!!!!!!!!!!!
So fun!!! Way to go girls...you will be so happy with the improvement!!!
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :0)

There are people starving to death in Somalia and you are putting more food on your face than they see in a year.

Glenn -

If you take that white stuff that is in chicken poop and shove it in your ears, let it dry, and dig it out, all the wax will come with it.

Joy Garrett (Chessher)

I forgot...the free range eggs are great...no antibotics and hormones. The less chemicals the better because your skin is the covering of the body, and chemicals seep in through the hair follicles...oatmeal and jojoba oil natural!!!! Remember if you cannot pronounce the words under the ingredients of a product you are better off not using them!!! Some are deadly... toxic!!!!

Dee Allen...LOL you are hilarious!!!!! But...proud of you for getting a facial...Tell Janet too!! Ya'll can be partners!!!!!

Joy -

This has got to work. My granddaughter has the smoothest face, not a wrinkle one. Try what she does. She's beyond rubbing oatmeal and egg on her face. She rubs spaghetti sauce, syrup, applesauce, and yard dirt all over her face. No telling what else that we don't know about. This is only a partial list.

Cyndie Chrystal (Williams)

Yvonne-
This is the song my sister, Della, remembered from LJJR:

Loyal to Lake Jackson we stand to our man
Our memories keep time with the band while our
colors wave in the sun. We will ever be true alma mater
to you til the game of life is fought and won.

Sing this twice, getting faster and louder during the second time through.

I presume Susie's song is the fight song and the above was our alma mater.
Thank goodness our sisters have memories.

Joy -thanks for the advice
Glenn - don't encourage Dee - he needs no encouragement
Dee- get to work, oh, you are at work!! :)

Dee,
Did you know you can go to Tractor Supply and buy Crack Cream, Working Man Hand's, and Monkey Butt Powder. My favorite winter time scents are Doe In Heat, and Tinks 69.

Dee Ann Trout (Glenn)

Dee and Glenn...crazy talk and to think I dated both of you! Joy, since you live so close can I just come to your house for a facial...too many details in the recipe for me to remember.

Glenn -

"Doe in Heat" only works during the rut. Before and after you need to spray down real well with "Coon Urine".

Dee Ann -

You don't have to remember anything. That's why she wrote down the recipe. Just don't get Joy's posting mixed up with mine and Mallory's and start rubbing "Doe in Heat" on your face.

Glenn Mallory**

Dee Ann,
At least you kept the name Glenn in your name that says a lot.

Cyndie,

Yes. Reading the words, I remember singing that song. What a blaast from the past. Kudos to your sister for remembering......

Okay, Joy, I got the Neutrogena rejuvenator but I have a Bible study meeting tonight so . . . any way, thanks for the step by step. I had questions, too.

Boys, Strickland is a fine example for you both. Take a lesson. You were warned. You might want to pick up some bag balm and hoof hardner while at Tractor Supply, it might come in handy.

Yvonne, good for you, rise above the whole situation.

Joy Garrett (Chessher)

Hi Carol...write me or call with your questions....happy to help!!

Dee Ann...come over anytime, and I will give you a facial!! I am going to a birthday bash this weekend, but maybe next week?!
Cyndie...you are welcome! Let me know what you think!!

Does anyone know where Cheryl Lewellen is? She lived in Galveston, but did they move after the hurricane.

I heard years ago that Bruce Reed was in Houston..bank President. I bet Hollis knows. I am so sorry to hear about Bobby. What a great man he was!

You know Dee you are on to something layering with food...try mashed avacado, and fresh pumpkin...add a little cinnamon in the pumpkin, soak your hair in mayonaise, and then use ice cold cucumber slices for under your eyes for puffiness. Then after rinsing off the mask...apply fresh lemon juice diluted with a little water as a toner. I really think your granddaughter and you have started the beginning of my natural facial product company!!! To cleanse your body...drink the lemon juice over ice and water, and also take the sliced cucumbers, add water, ice drink until all gone!!! A great cleansing and purification for the skin! Anyone have anymore food ideas for facials?!!! I know you think I am crazy...but natural vitamins work wonders for the skin!!!!! HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM........

04/20/09 06:54 PM #436

Joy Garrett (Chessher)

Jelly...a sealer to hold moisture in...considered to be occlusive!!! Thank you MIKE!!! LOL

Julie...stitch in times saves nine...saves me from having a big hole in my blouse!!!

One day ya'll I will tell you about "BIG" Aunt JOY!!!!!
But I will save this until the reunion!!!

Have a good night...don't be scared of my potions!!! Heh Heh!!!
