I always have Bag Balm on hand. It is udderly fine stuff for Bovines below the declotae. Also works great for conditioning old leather things like baseball gloves.

Joy, I found 2 different machines by Neutragena. One was called something like Wave. It had a white case but each one had a different color thing in the middle...some pink, some blue, some green. Then I found something else in a different shape, white, and I think it was called a cleansing something. I wish I had written it down. Do you know the exact name of it?

Cheryl is still in Galveston. I heard from her after the hurricane...no damage or not much damage to her home. I do have her email but I thought she had registered on here. I will have to email her.

I had another question, but I already forgot it...will have to read back over the instructions you gave. THank you!

Also, I think you have to be careful w/ the essential oils...most you cannot apply directly to the skin. Most need a carrier oil. But I think lavendar oil is ok to put right on the skin in small amounts. Is that right? I know you said to add it to the oil, but I didn't want someone thinking some other essential oil smelled good so they would just rub it all over their body full strength. Some might not be familiar w/ essential oils.

Kathy...this Neutrogena hand held machine is all white, and has exfoliating pads inside it...It is next to those colored ones, but they have sponges...good for massaging and cleansing, but not exfoliating. Write me if you have any questions! Kathy...I want to talk to Cheryl! Is she coming to the reunion!!! Tell her hi, and we want to talk to her. Tell her party and facials at Joy's house!!!!

Hey what did ya'll think about the Tea Parties April 15th? They are planning another for July 4th...2000 cities did the party, but Newt Gingrich and his followers are planning for 4000 cities having parties July 4th...CNN passed it off like people are potential terrorist!!! Go figure...more like revoluntionist to me...Boston Tea Party!!!!! I am not only a protector of children....but of America!!!!! Yea America!!!!! Home of the FREE...let's keep it that way!!!! Kathy...you are right...like Eucaliptus...you wouldn't want to rub that one all over the body...just use Lavender everyone..it is very calming to the brain...Dee Allen this would be good for you!!!! Thanks Kathy...I only use lavender. You could use a fragrant oil...just not essential oil...unless lavender! I use Eucaliptus in the steam shower at Lifetime...it awakens everything!!! Whoa!!!!!! I went to a Tea Party here in FW. I think it is high time we seriously consider secession. I love the fundamental principles upon which the U.S. was founded. We have gradually abandoned those principles. 85 – 90% of the actions of the Federal Government are unconstitutional. If you don’t believe me, read the Constitution. I know naysayers will opine about how the Constitution is a “Living Breathing Document” intended to be flexible for changing times. No, No! The Constitution is a ridged box intended to allow government to perform those acts that are specifically delegated to it, by the people. Furthermore, the enumeration, in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. AMENDMENT IX And, the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. AMENDMENT X
When was the last time you heard someone in Washington refer to the 9th or 10th amendments?
The actions of our elected “representatives” do not reflect concern for the electors. They are, clearly, indicators of self preservation of an elected position, support for a party (that can help the elected remain elected), and for personal power (and wealth).

No, Joy, I haven’t tried the avocado. I understand Preparation H is good for shrinking the puffiness around the eyes. It is pretty much “all natural” (mostly shark’s liver oil). Purchasing this product does support over harvest of a rapidly shrinking fishery, however.

Very well said.
We are loosing our individual sovereignty and liberties at an alarming rate. The Constitution, ( Our Constitution ), is literally being destroyed before our eyes.
I am currently reading Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin. I encourage you to pick up a copy of this book as it puts all that is happening to our country into retrospect. I hope we all get better educated about the facts, and get involved with groups like American Solutions, Tea Parties, and other like minded people or groups before it is to late and we are no longer allowed to say GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Hi Everyone...been thinking about you all, and realizing we have an amazing group of graduates in 1969!!!!! I am getting to know you all...all over again!!! You people are funny people...and just so real!!! GOD Bless each and everyone of you!

Who do I stand for?

You know me as crazy...oh yes I am, but there is a very serious side to me!! Dee you read my thoughts... I have also thought Texas should succeed from the USA. Texas is strong, and as my husband said the best state to live in the United States!!! He traveled extensively, and always said there was no place like Texas! I am proud to be a Texan, but really what I love about Texans is they care about each other....and I believe most Texans will stand up for what is right...for what is moral!!! I believe our Fore Fathers were amazing, moral, and GODLY men. They started this country to be led by GOD, and I believe that is the problems...when we don't follow GOD... we fail. I believe that it is obvious that GOD loves variety and all those HE has made with all the different races and personalities of HIS children. Our government is working to remove GOD, and separate HIM from a country that HE has led to GREATNESS!!!!Why?? For power, for money, for control!!!! Why would we as Christians allow this..these people like you and I are elected officals PAID to serve the people!! Many of them are out of control, and serve to line their pockets with your tax dollars! Don't you wonder why our Senators are allowed to be in office indefinitely? They voted themselves to have unlimited service. Two 4 year terms to serve your country is certainly enough service for any elected offical!!! I say if they are not doing the job we the people have elected them to do, and they are misusing our tax dollars to benefit themselves or special interest groups...IMPEACH THEM...and this is for every elected official! I am appalled that the first business at hand for our President was to put into effect that our tax dollars pay for international abortions!!!! I don't know about you people, but I don't want my tax dollars being used for anything that is against GOD. I don't care about political parties, politics, playing games, but I do care about what is right, moral, just, and about GOD. I am for the moral candidates that have the best interest of the people and this country at heart!!! I have written Senator Coryn, Senator Hutchinson many times, and they both voted against the Stimulus Bill. Hmmmm...the American people have tightened their belts, but our government is on a spending spree with your tax dollars. Children have to fight to get some of your tax dollars to help find a cure for cancer, but we can pay bonuses for executives after they were the reason that AIG Insurance Company failed because of greed! Future generations for this misreprensentation of YOUR TAX DOLLARS... will pay the price, and will say we all lost our minds and let the government take over!!!!!
Dee Allen, I want people like you to represent the American people, believe in the Constitution written by our Fore Fathers, UNDER GOD...LED BY GOD, and ALL FOR GOD'S GLORY!!! We will fail without HIM, but if we stand very strong with HIM WE WILL NOT FAIL!!!! Next Tea Party BHS 1969...July 4th...let's be there and stand strong at the Austin State Capitol!!!!!!! If we can't discuss politics among friends, when, and where, can we discuss it? That's the problem. We have not discussed it for so long and look where it has gotten us.
No, we wouldn't have slavery. The 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution was the remedy. Women would be able to vote. The 19th Amendment provides for that. The Constitution has been amended 27 times. The issue is, should government be free to EXPAND its own powers at its own indiscretion or, should it be reserved to the States and the people to decide when changes are relevant. I think the latter.

Dee Allen....you are not on a soap box...you are truthful and you care very much about the future of the USA!!!! Did you know that in the Stimulus bill... any University that received our tax dollars would not be allowed to have any religious meetings on campus? Did you know that CNN referred to the Tea Party as a group compared to terrorist? I feel that little by little our freedom is being chipped away, and one day we will all wish that we discussed it, and took action! As much as I love peace, laughter, and pure "joy"....I know that I must stand strong and speak truth!!!!

I'm politically active and discuss these matters in depth on a regular basis. I respect the right of citizens to express whatever they want to express whenever they want to express it.

Perhaps Texas would be better off if it seceded from the Union. I doubt it, but I've been wrong before. Our nation plowed that ground once before, though, and watered it with the blood of our ancestors. I'm willing to go along with the historical result.

It would be a shame to condemn these valid discussions to a shallow treatment of the subjects, which is in reality all that they will (or should!) receive in a forum like this.

In any case, try to put off the secession movement until after the reunion...some of us have to come in to Texas from (horror) out of state and we don't want to make it any more difficult than necessary on those of us that now live in places like the People's Republic of California!

Did I ever tell ya'll how interested I am in health!!! Oh, I should have been a nurse...and learned so much from my Dad, Tom Garrett...an expert in medicine!!! It is not to late to go to nursing school!!!!

Well, a couple of years ago I dated this man that told me about supplements made by Mannatech. I am skeptical about taking anything...but like Kitty feels about Noni juice there is definitely something to it! I studied it for six months, and after talking to people and reading the testimonies I started taking it 4 years ago! Oxford University did a study on our food chain and found that we are lacking in the saccrides which are natural sugars or glyconutrients that are necessary for healthy cells. Cells are the building blocks of the immune system. Healthy cells means healthy body!!!! Anway, I am very prone to lung problems, but since Advanced Ambrotose I have had amazing health. To prove to myself that it was worth taking..I quit taking it three times in a 4 year period...and I got sick with 2 serious colds and pneumonia! My friend said that it would also stop the aging process, and that caught my attention!!! Lol..being the kid I am at heart this would sure help me to stay young with my grandchildren!!! Hopefully, Texas won't secede...my husband and daughter would like to live there one day and I don't know what the immigration laws might be!

I've been teaching for 33-34 years in the same school.
North Belt Elementary in Humble.
On the wrong side of the Beltway from Redstone Golf Club.
Some of the "kids" that return think I am surely a ghost.


I have become the Crazy Caterpillar lady at my school.
Every year I find myself looking on milkweed leaves for caterpillars and raising monarch butterflies in my classroom.

Planned on retiring but the money went bye-bye.

Planned on moving to inherited acres in Lost Prairie, Texas
but now may have to pitch a tent.

Some of you hung out at the Dairy Bar but I worked there.

I was born at the "Dow Hospital" like many of you.
Dr. Perryman and I share the same birthday. (just a few years apart) I'm sure he enjoyed missing that New Year's Eve Party.
Second child born that day. No big prizes back then!

No kids.
No grandkids.
No pets.

Learned to knit at an after school knitting club with a bunch of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders last year.

Dabbled in oil painting for a short time, painted with acrylics lost interest.

I have been working on my family genealogy for several years.

Clute Elementary friends,
I think I saw in the Facts that Mr. Kerr passed away sometimes last year.

Yes, Mr. Irby some of us did have towalk to T.W. Ogg in first grade. Then the next year we went back to Clute Elementary. Marion Street was divided. One end went to Ogg and the other went to Clute.

Dee Allen,
I think you were in my kindergarten class at Clute. I'm going to see if I can find that yearbook.
