I got off to a rough start in the Wild Willy but finally got my head on straight.
Ed Scott BM2 made a real Tin Can sailor out of me. Second Division was No. 1
Anyone recall Bill Hoagland, BM3; Jim Pepper BMSN; Rosie Rosenthal, Career SA; James 'Mother' Mullen, our compartment cleaner; Harvey Thurston Woods, our Division African; Jim Pettway SN; Ashley, GM3 and Krohn GM2?

After the Willyboat, joined the Army and went and did a bunch of Army stuff.
Infantry, y'know. Finally retired from the Big Green in '92, Sooper Sarge!

I remember you, Harvey, but I won't mention any of that crazy stuff. I was 2nd Div and remember the tubes, the green pickles inside the bulwark aft the break, 40mm, Newborne, Capt Holt, and a bunch of guys. Hope you're still around and kickin'. I retired Army in '92
