"Robert J. " Boltz Pe

Ed et al,

I agree with we need to clean out the "Establishment" of Washington. The do nothing Congress of yesteryear cannot hold a candle to the vacationing gentlemen of today. It would be nice to work two weeks then take one off all the time. Then just to show they did something they pass the 60th umteen bill to repeal the ACA. Sic.

Jerry,

Well said. I want to tell you a short story...I sent an Email to my mailing list regarding the failure of Congress to pass "Kates's Law" (A Young woman killed by an Illegal alien (in San Francisco) who was deported 6 times and Allowed to return). It showed how ICE & SF weren't doing their jobs.

I immediately receive to emails back. One from a liberal friend who said "Bob if you are going to send out political emails...take me off your list,please". The other from a conservative friend who said..."That's the problem Bob, Liberals don't give a shit".

Wow, the divide is greater than I thought.

Bob;

The progressive libtards don't want to hear the truth, so their typical and expected response would be "take me off your mailing list". They lie, divert, cheat and steal, and are constantly angry because they don't get ALL of the free stuff.

None of them EVER walked our walk !!

YITB,

Jer

Col Bill, Clark, John Lynch, Ed Carpenter, Jay Repetto and all the others that I have not listed, here is a note of thanks for your continued efforts to keep us together. Jim Sinclair - thanks for the write-up about your summer semester in 1966; Hal Marshall thanks for thinking of me - looking forward to join you in a toast for Stu Smith.  Jerry Johnson - save 10 minutes to share a conversation with me about days on the farm before PMC.  Gordon Hanscom - a fellow transportation officer- looking forward to some conversations at the reunion.  Can't name everyone in this short memo...but I am looking forward to saying Hi to all.

I know all on the reunion list are looking forward to getting together for this - perhaps the most significant reunion of all.  Just ordered the $18 Grey PMC reunion sweatshirt - even though I was rarely in proper uniform at PMC.  I did get reformed a bit during my 3 years active duty in Korea - and later, after a 14 year break in service, in the NY Army National Guard for 19 years as a combat logistician for a heavy Division (42ID Mech).  Henry Faryna - Bath, NY

HoooRrahhh.  See ya soon.   Bill

Bill,Kevin, Clark, Owl, Ed et. all. The last few days have been "interesting" to say the least. Chatham country (Savannah) was under a mandatory evacuation order effective till 1700 yesterday. We have been in Tennessee since Thursday and are waiting for power to be restored to our area before driving home. Based on our limited knowledge of damage and status of power makes it impractical to attend our reunion.  Maura and I are deeply saddened but need to focus on our current situation.  Have a great time and enjoy all the festivities.

Hal,

Completely understand.  Glad you Maura and your family are safe.  Savanah took quite a hit based on the news we see.  Be well, be safe and we'll talk in a week or two to see how you are making out.

Clark

Col Bill, Clark and all,  I am also not going to be able to make the reunion.  My wife went into the hospital today for some tests.  She will be all right and it is not life threatening - but one has to be vigilent whenever a hospital is involved.  Was going to bring in the TKE pledge paddle I received in 1966 for folks to check out thier signatures and the signatures of several brothers no longer with us.  Will have to wait for a better time.  Will miss not being able to see everyone.  Clark - see if you can claim the tickets I paid for .. for someone else to use. I paid for one ticket for all of our recommended events including the Friday evening cocktail party, the football game, and the Saturday evening dinner and dance.  Henry Faryna

Henry, sorry to hear the news, but I do understand the importance of supporting your wife.  I would definately do the same after 48 years of being married.  Hope to see you in the future.

Henry,

Completely understand. Wives and family ALWAYS come first. You and she will be in our thoughts and prayers. I'll be at registration tomorrow and check on the tickets etc.

Take care of the home fires.

Henry,

Sorry to hear your not going to be able to make the Reunion.  More important to take care of Your wife and Family. My best wishes for her speedy recovery, I will keep her in my prayers.  There will be other Reunions and we still have to help, Col Bill, with the Last Man Standing.  Stay well!

Wow! It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since we graduated from good 'ol PMC? Last Friday and Saturday was without a doubt the reunion of a lifetime. It gave all of us who were able to attend the chance to reunite with each other, learn of our careers and see how much we've changed. We went into world and gave back to others what we received at PMC. May God give all of us good health and many years of life. Remember, until we see each other again, “Sir, the cow, she is fine. She walks, she talks, and the lacteal fluid excreted from the bovine species is highly prolific to the enth digree, Sir.

A salute and a big “thank you” to John Lynch and the members of the Reunion Committee. Your efforts resulted in a truly wonderful experience for all of us attending our 50th Class Reunion. The reunion weekend was filled with true camaraderie, emotion, and yes, courage.  It made me realize how very proud I am to be a member of PMC’s Class of 1966.    As the late, great Tito Mambo always said “until we all meet again, God Bless!”

Guys;

So sorry that Curtie an I missed the 50th. I understand that it was a terriffic event.

Curtie remains remarkable, and is doing extremely well subsequent to her surgery.

Unexpectedly, my right hip implant got infected (again), and I landed in the hospital for 3 + weeks and had 4 surgeries - 1 for 7 1/2 hours to clean out the old hip hardware, and then 3 more to address the Compartment Syndrome of my left Deltoid muscle that resulted from lying on my side for the 7 1/2 hours of surgery. I was very fortunate not to have lost my left arm.

Now on crutches and a Pic Line. More surgery on 11-14 to remove the temporary antibiotic hip, and then install the "permanent hardware". Should be OK in a couple of years!!!

Best to all,

Jerry

What a good time we all had reminiscing and remembering all those who were not there. Our reunion committee planned an outstanding day and half and there were many good laughs. I am so sorry that several classmates who were planning on attending could not due to things above their control. I surely was fun being with the "Best Class" 66

I posted this on the 17th, but to my page.  Must be old age.  Best to all. George
