Gerry - glad you are recovering from all the nasty stuff that happened.  Looking forward to getting together and commiserating on pathways taken - hopefully at this year's homecoming since we both missed last year's.  Hard to keep us farm boys down for long.

Sorry I cannot be with you on Wednesday!   I made a note on Saturday evening to email Ed to ask if it is too late.   Unfortunately about 10 minutes later my wife received a call to advise that her cousin passed away.   And that the services are on Wednesday.   So once again I'll have to miss.   Hope you all have a great time and that maybe the next time the stars will align properly to enable to to attend.

Great time had by all at TECA Lunch!  Several pictures were taken and I would ask anyone with pictures to please post them so you can see our Classmates!

Also thank you to all who were able to make it and remind those who could not that there will be other Lunch  Dates in the future that you most likely will make.

Currently, we are planning for a Lunch down at the Jersey Shore  toward the end of May, before the kids get out of School.  If you're interested please drop me a note on this web site and I will insure that you are called with the Date, Location, and Time.  Thanks Ed.

HEY EVERYONE!!! You all should be receiving an Email today or shortly regarding on opportunity to purchase a grey Golf shirt in the design of the sweatshirts that we had at the 50th Reunion.  The sweatshirts were really great and well received, so these shirts should be awesome.  The idea for the shirt came about at the April 5th luncheon for classmates held in PA.  Pete Rohana contacted APPCO and they have agreed to make up the shirts for our class, but the is a very limited time to order 30 days from today April 20.  In case you don't get the Email I'm going to puplish her, the letter Pete made up giving all the details.  If you are interested, contact APPCO directly, specifically Kevin or Carol and place your order.

I'll publish the letter in the "Message below this one.

Hi Guys;

I'm back !! They can't kill a Ninja !!

Still on a Pic Line and a Wound Vac. Once the infection clears, and if i can find a Dr. who will do the revision after 6 months of confirmation that the infection has cleared, I will get a hip. Right now it's ugly, and I'm walker and crutches limited.

Thanks for all your kind wishes and phone calls.  You guys rock !!

Regards to all,

Jerry

Glad to hear you feel better. The doctor who did my revision was great. He is part of the Rothman Institute at Jefferson. He is in charge of their Revisions.  Dr. Gregory Deirmenjian; you should check him out when you are ready. Keep on "truckin"

Jerry:

So good to talk to you a few weeks ago! My heart ailments appear mild compared to what you have gone through. Understand your frustrations with the wound vac. My aunt had one for 6 months. No fun, but it does work. You are and always have been a tough fighter so keep forging ahead and keep looking for the best medical doctors available. It has taken me 3 months, but I believe I have now found them. Want to see you walking again without assistance and stronger than ever. Our prayers are with you.

Keep the faith!

John Lynch

Gerry, keep up the battle.  I have been fighting my own battles, but you were in a war.  I know a ninja will always survive and you have the guts to get through all of this set back.  Besides I know Curtie will always be there for you !

Jerry, all the best to you on your recovery.  I'm with you on this - as are all the classmates involved in this forum.  We are all at that time in life when visits to the hospital seem to get scarier and scarier.  I thought I was perfectly healthy - then had a mild heart attack with two stents put in last summer.  As we go through these experiences - it affects us.  Now I notice the beauty of nature even more that before and appreciate friends and past friends including all you guys from PMC.

I really appreciate this website that Clark has provided for us.  As I often tell my wife Patricia, all we have is each other (and our kids who are off trying to establish themselves in this tough world) - so lets make a point of enjoying every day.

Best of everything to all.
