To all those who loved Alan (as did I), I send my sincere condolences. He was my dear friend in high school, and he was kind, sweet, sensitive, and funny. I remember him always having a smile on his face and an amusing story to tell. I have such wonderful memories of Alan.

Alan lived around the corner from me in our Woodward years. We played basketball in his driveway. I looked up to him,not just because he was taller. He had sort of a calm confident manner of being. He was way better than me at basketball but he was always willing to show me the way. We reconnected in some of the reunions as I had moved to Ca in '79. He was a good guy.

Alan was my longstanding friend, and I have many fond memories of growing up with him together. I have enjoyed maintaining contact with Alan and Ann and met with them whenever I visited Cincinnati. I was touched by the funeral and evening service and was particularly impressed by the speech from his loving daughter Jessica. I miss Alan, and my thoughts are with the Fischoff family during this difficult time. Tom Wolf
