Carol Ann "Cathy" Simms

Carol Ann "Cathy" Simms of Dayton, Ky passed away on March 4th. Born in Cincinnati, OH on June 22, 1944 she attended Woodward HS and the University of Cincinnati. On February 27th, 1965 she married the love of her life William "Bill" Simms. Cathy will be known as the ultimate "social butterfly" who had a passion for traveling and most importantly, her family. She was an active participant welcoming new neighbors in every community she lived in. She worked as a realtor in Peachtree City, Georgia where she was named "Best New Neighbor." She touched numerous lives with her infectious laugh and sense of humor. Cathy is survived by her husband William "Bill" Simms; her loving children: Mindy Etris (Joe) and Rodger Simms and granddaughter, Jordan Hoenscheid. A strong woman of faith, Cathy was a parishioner with her husband at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ft. Thomas, KY. A funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Saturday, March 11th at 11:00am with a reception for family and loved ones to follow at the same location.
