My deepest sympathy to Ron's family. I remember Ron as one of the best gymnast at Woodward. May he RIP.

Met Ron (Ronnie) in 3rd grade. We grew up around the corner from each other. He was an active youth leader at church. Enjoyed teaching his grandson at Woodford School. He is the spitting image of Ron.
Terry Adams
I remember Ron as one of the P-Ridge gang, a dedicated body-builder, mentored by Gary Steuer (Mr. Ohio) and the first to own a Harley Sportster. He was one of the "Good" guys, though striving to be tough like we all were.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of one of the really great guys and good friend from our days at Shroder though high school. He seemed indestructable and I was always in awe of him doing his gymnastic routines and specifically the "Iron Cross" on the rings. He and I were one of the few who had legal motorcycles in Junior High School and his was this sweet, white Harley. Soft spoken and a real gentleman and I was proud to be his friend. Condolonces to his family. Gil Schulze

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Ronnie Tolbert. I will never forget “jungle day” at Shroder in the 8th grade. Ronnie demonstrated the rings for the boys and I was chosen to demonstrate for the girls. Unfortunately I did not have Ronnie’s talent and I broke my arm trying to swing from one ring to the next. Ronnie was such a talented gymnast and just an all around good person. Condolences to his family. R.I.P. Ronnie.
Roberta (Bobbie) Johnson (Rizzo)
So, sorry to get the news about Ron. My sympathy goes out to all his family for their loss. May he rest in peace.

I was fortunate to be able to stay in touch with Ronnie until this past year. He only lived about a mile from me and we would stop by each others house just to talk. As his condition changed conversation became much more difficult. I was alway in awe of Ron's gymnastic abilities. His gymnastic ability and srength was second to none. He always kept his body in shape. As Gil Schulze commented Ron had a HD 165 in junior high and continued to ride his whole life. I will miss his smile and his friendship. Rest in peace Ronnie.
