Veronica S. Fuller Anderson

COLUMBIA — Homegoing Service for Veronica S. Fuller Anderson, will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Progressive Church of Our of Lord Jesus Christ, Hopkins, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 6:30 -7:30 this evening at the funeral home.

Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home 2930 Colonial Drive is in charge of the service.

Mrs. Anderson went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Louise Payne and Joseph Gilliam, and her adopted father, Hardy W. Fuller. She was a 1967 graduate of C. A. Johnson High School. She continued her education at Rochester Institute of Technology and Columbia School of Nursing where she received her Nursing Certification in 1971. She retired as a nurse from Richland Memorial Hospital (Newborn Nursery) in 1995, and Midlands Technical College as Lab Manager in 1999.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Hopkins where she served in many capacities. Some to include: member of the Sr. Choir, the Progressive Singers, Secretarial Staff, and Director of the Tender Years Day Care. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Elder Elect N. Jerod Anderson; daughter, Victoria R. Anderson; brothers Lewis Albert (L. A.) and Joe T. Fuller; two grandchildren, Brandlyn and Jonathan Anderson; god-daughter, Brandy Golston.
