Cal's family lived three doors from my house. Lost contact after graduation. Does any one know what happened to him?

I've done a couple of searches to find out what I could about Cal. The only thing I've been able to find is in the California Death Index as follows:

Cal Edward Barber
Social Security #: 380404456
Birthdate: 14 Apr 1941
Birthplace: Michigan
Death Date: 26 Dec 1990
Death Place: Napa
Mother's Maiden Name: Anderson

I have to assume this is our Cal. Someone else mentioned he lived in California. Perhaps others can fill in more details.

RIP Cal.

Brent, Steve, and all the rest of us who have wondered and wanted to be positively sure about our own 'Mr. Handsome' ... Cal Barber, Karen has sure helped us out.

I can't remember a single girl in our class who didn't think Cal was 'something special' - he was loved more than he knew, I'm sure.

I wish he was still with us, but as we've all learned,
'wishing doesn't make it so'.

Cal, we've never forgotten you, and never will.
