Carol was one of the sweetest people that walked the halls of RHS.I will always remember her for her endearing smile and positive attitude. We went on to U of M together and joined the same sorority. I kept in contact with her after college and until she passed away.

Carol and I were dear friends all of our years at RHS. Even though I went to EMU in Ypsilanti and she was at Michigan in Ann Arbor, we still got together. I remember
a fun time when we got our young boys together at their house in Northville. We thought it pretty coincidental that our son was Michael Scott and that their son was named Scott.

After moving to AZ in 1984, we still kept in touch every Christmas. It was devastating that Christmas to get Mac's note of her tragic passing. I still get emotional thinking of my dear, sweet friend. It just won't seem the same without her at our reunion.

Ann and Barb have certainly shared beautifully from their 'close up and personal' relationships with Carol and Mac.
I knew her more at a distance, but found her smile, her cheerfulness, and her handsome boyfriend (smiling with a wink here) all attractive. What a great looking couple they made. We all said that, we all knew it, it wasn't just me!
Carol and I actually did more visiting at a reunion one year, than perhaps we'd ever done in high school, but we had the right opportunity and we had the time, and we grabbed it. Yes, she was a pure delight, not to be forgotten.

I don't remember when I didn't know Carol. Our parents went to high school together and remained friends for life. So we first knew each other as very young kids. Then we were good friends at Redford and in Ann Arbor. When Mac wasn't around we even dated now and then. But everybody always knew that they were the perfect couple and would eventually be a great team as indeed they were. All those years and memorable experiences I never knew of her asthma or much about the condition. I learned a lot from it taking her life very tragically -- a terrible loss of a very wonderful person.
