Take a look at the new addition to the Benton clan. Brady Luke Benton born 10/23/2013 to Tom and Tricia in Sunny CA. The name lives on!!

OK, all of you that are retired, don't talk to me. Those that are semi-retired-say hello. Those of us still working-talk to me-what are we doing wrong!

Came to Cape Cod-many times-but meet a beautiful young lady on the Cape in 1968 and married that fall. Also off to Germany that fall, all expenses paid by Uncle Sam.

Returned to the Cape in 1970. Did the usual dad things, Cubmaster, coached baseball and hockey; that's a surprise, and finished college via GI Bill.
Spent 25 years with Coca Cola Bottling Co of Cape Cod. Company sold-job eliminated-bought the Cape Cod Braided Rug Company in Harwich on the Cape. We manufacture and sell-USA made. Go to my website listed on this page to see what we do.

School Story:

Parties at Mosedale's house. Many sports memories. One that stands out. First year we were in the high school as 9th grade and fielding varsity sports teams, we got humiliated in hockey by Chicopee Comp. 17-0. The next day in school while in Leo Darsigny's class, he walks over to the desk I was in, leans over with both hands on the front of the desk so he is eye to eye with me and ask, "what happened last night"? What could I say.
Next class is science with Bob Camp. As he was wiping the black board, he turns and fires the eraser at me and states, "just wanted to see if you could stop anything"! We all laughed in both classes. Oh, I did stop the eraser.

Being hall monitors-boy did we think we were hot s----s. What were we supposed to do anyway.
We should have had guns!

Gee, another year has flown by. Happy birthday golf partner. Keep working on that one handed putting stroke. They fall in even when you think you miss hit it. I loved it-both Kens not so much.
