Beth Cooper (Tabakin) Dear All- I reserved my hotel room from Thursday-Sunday through the Disneyworld site. Amazingly, 'they' were running a special and the room was $109/night and much cheaper than the last time I checked. Check it out and I hope to see you there. I am arriving late Thursday night and am available to play starting Friday AM. I can't wait. Love, Beth

Denise Lemmon (Germana) Hi Barbara, I also have booked the hotel with the same great rate. When I booked the room, they asked if we had a Grand Gathering Number with the group?? If we have a group number, we can all get our rooms together by calling (407) 939-7526 with the Grand Gathering Number. November will be here before we know it (can't wait). Take Care, Denise

Dear All-
I am currently on hold with the number listed by Denise...........we're going on minute 8 so I'm writing this to pass the time. I am hoping to get a Grand Group Number and will list it on the forum. I heard a news report today that said that we spend >1 year on hold waiting for people to answer the phone. I believe it! It's been 11 minutes and the new number to call is: 407-828-3200 which is 'leisure group sales'. They answered promptly, but the recording stated that the office closes at 5PM EST.
If anyone else wants to continue the pursuit, go ahead and then list the update on the forum. I will give it another go when I have time and my computer.
it's Sept a;lready........month after next and.....here we come!

Hey –
For those of you that went to Dutch Broadway, do you remember the conversation we had a few months ago about the recording you made, and I said my mother bought a copy? Well, Saturday my sister called me and said she was going through some boxes and found a record entitled “Dutch Broadway Sings” and asked me if I knew anything about it. I told her to bring it with her when she comes down to Naples in October. I’ll keep it with my “vast” record collection. Will I have the only remaining copy?

Joanne Dickstein (Deutch) I think you do, I think we sang"Rain on the Roof", I remember the words were, the pitter patter of the rain on the roof. You are very lucky, perhaps you can bring it in to have a CD made of it and we can sell them on my website to benefit the class and donate the profit to a worthy cause.

Joanne Dickstein (Deutch) Very exciting, a true treasure but I guess you had to be there to consider it a treasure. I think also the song "Blue Skys are gona Clear up, Put on a Happy Face" might be on there too. Can't wait to find out!

I was planning on going to the reunion, and very much looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I will be unable to make it. My oldest son is a theater major, and he will be in a production at school at that time. Both my boys are in college and live at home, so we are very involved in their lives. So sorry that I will not be able to be a part of the Disney experience, as I had such a wonderful time seeing you all at the 40th. To all of you who will be attending, I wish you all a great time! Please take lots of pictures and post them on our site.

Hi everyone, Once again I am asking for your prayers! My younger sister Terry was hit by a pickup truck while out running Sat. morn. She is in ICU in Springfield Mass. I immediately drove up Sat. and it was touch and go to Mon. when she finally was stabile. She had some internal injuries. Her kidneys are still not great.I came home Tuesday and I will be going back up on Sun. unless there is an emergency.

Okay, here’s the Disney info so far.

Saturday night dinner will be at Wolfgang Puck’s signature restaurant (Dining Hall). It’s on the second floor of Wolfgang Puck’s Café in Downtown Disney. Contact me for the confirmation number, etc.

Those of us that will be at the Coronado Springs Hotel on Friday night can have dinner there at the Maya Grill. Contact me for the conformation number, etc.

Now, about other activities. I’ve never seen the Animal Kingdom, and since the animals are usually out early in the morning, I’d love to do that Saturday or Sunday morning if anyone is interested. If no one else wants to see the Animal Kingdom……I never get tired of Epcot. Any suggestions? Do you want to meet at the hotel and go to the parks together? Or does everyone just want to do their own thing? There should be plenty of things to do at the resort too (if you’ve already had too much Disney).

I would like to see the east coast version which I hear has many new features. If you are on the fence about joining us, I hope you come! Beth

Sabina Musci To those of you that went to Dutch Broadway: My sister brought me the record "Dutch Broadway Sings" but I don't think it's the same one some of you remember. It's dated Feb. 24, 1961, directed by Carl Hendrix. The songs on it are Everything's Coming up Roses, Dites-moi, Lullaby in Birdland and Day Break. It must have been recorded the year before you graduated.

Carrie Czajkowski (Hogan) I found 2 records. The one Sabina has and another one. On it is Smile,Autumnleaves,Michael and Pick Yourself Up. There is no date on the second one. What year did we "move up"? I remember seeing some DBWAY stuff in the attic. Next time I'm up there I'll see if I can find it.
