Hi Sabrina and Carrie,

I seem to remember BOTH records! Is there any way to get copies on CDs? Please let me know! Thanks,

Susan

I'm not sure if we can turn 45's into cd's. My husband is going to ask around. Anybody have any ideas??
With my sister still in ICU my brain is frazzled. I checked my album and found 3 class pictures from DBWAY. Kindergarten from 56(Miss Wallace?)4th grade from 1960 and 6th grade from 62(Mr. Dowden?) So I guess we moved up in 62.They do not have teachers names on them so I'm taking a guess.

I was in the chior and remember singing those songs, but don't ask me where the record is. In HS we were on WABC's Big Break, with Bruce Morrow, but Mike Memoli had the only recording and it's probably long gone.

For those who have never seen Cirq-d-solie, it's a lttle pricy, but worth it.

A week from today we'll be in sunny hot Florida!! The time from planning to going went very fast!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Update- my sister is still in ICU but making great progress. She is almost off the respirator and they gave her some liquids by mouth today. We will go up to see her before our mini reunion. After a very long, tiring month of trips back and forth to Mass.and constant worrying I am looking forward to getting away and just having fun. Now I can do so comfortably because of her progress.
Thank you for all your prayers!!They are working!!!

Well, it appears the weather is finally changing. We’re in the dry season, with lows in the mid 60s and highs in the 80s. Fair warning, no matter which park you choose, the Ibis (a white bird with a long beak, made for digging insects from the soil) has become a popular visitor to the parks. They especially like discarded French Fries, so if you notice a group of them congregating, don’t take refuge from the sun under a tree, unless you carry a change of close. They are very messy and don’t care who you are or what you’re wearing.

See you tomorrow!!!Looking forward to seeing everyone and having some fun.We should be there around 2. How am I going to find everyone?
It is almost 6 weeks since her accident and my sister is finally out of ICU (they were waiting for a bed)She is now in Intermediate Care. They have removed the feeding tube and tracheotomy. The next step is a rehab hospital.
We never thought she would get this far!!!

Just want to tell all who attended the Disney reunion that this was a weekend that will never be forgotten. What a blast!!
I was so amazed at how everyone, from all different walks of life, from all different high school crowds, from all different Elmont homes, can come together after all this time, and never run out of anything to say!!
Just being together was enough, looking at each other, sharing 59 years, and looking forward to sharing (59?) more, is exciting.
That is why it is so important that we stay in touch. Life is short, and fun times are what we live for.
Thank you all from the bottom, top, and middle of my heart.

& A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL (if I may speak for all of the Florida attendees).
Being with my Elmont friends and past acquaintances who I now consider friends was deeply nurturing and enriching for me. I felt a bond that was different and in many ways closer than I have with my CA friends. I've been in California since 1977 after living in Boston for 9 years post the Elmont era. I seemed to have graduated from high school and left New York to attend Boston University and kept on going. I seem to get involved in work and the whole world pales in comparison to what is right in front of me.
I second the sentiment that Barbara stated about the preciousness of life and time. What's next? We could meet anywhere. I'm thinking in terms of field trips in the form of interesting weekends with wonderful people. I vote for doing it sooner rather than later.
Boston? New York? California? Colorado?
Point of interest: Our Florida adventure was filled with present time conversations and the building of new relationships and little, if any reminiscing. It was pretty amazing. Thank you planners and attendees.
Love,
Beth

I too had a great time and I'd love to do it again. A long weekend in the California wine country might be nice. Any takers?
