What snow?? After the horrible weather of yesterday--snowing, raining, blizzard, hail, wind, & freezing temperatures, today it is gorgeous! Sunny, blue sky, not a drop of snow that I can see anywhere from my windows, on Second Avenue & 40th St. Of course, I have not been out yet, but I think there is nothing here! We are lucky!

I checked the teebones and they are great. How about kayaking and winter sports like skiing, ice skating etc.? How about basketball, baseball, hockey? I'll keep thinking!

We only got a slushy mess here that covered the grass. My sister in Mass. had 2 feet and is without power. Thankfully I went up the weekend before and the weather was great.

Couldn't help but share this.  NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday had a segment about Laura Nyro, one of my favorite singer-songwriters of all time.  I emailed the show with my remembrance of her and they read it on the air.
(See URL below).  I hope everybody's having a great December, and I'm still looking for a collaborator to make a banner for the Mets (re-activated) BANNER DAY in 2012.  I won second place in '63.

To all who knew Bob Safarian, I wanted to let you all know that he passed away last week.  There was a short service for him on Sunday.  We can only hope he is in a better place now.

Hi All- I'm going to be in South Florida- Deerfield Beach in Feb 12th-29th. Anyone care to have a EMHS reunion in late Feb. My husband leaves on the 19th, so anytime after that would be great. Any place from Palm Beach to Miami would work for me. Let me know.

To all the Giants fans-congratulations. GO GIANTS!!!

Gung Hoy Fa Choy! Happy year of the dragon!

Any suggestions on sights to see in Puerto Rico? We have been to the rainforest but would like ideas of what else to see.

If anyone like BlueGrass Rock Music....Every year in Wilkesboro,NC they have at Wilkesboro University what is called The MerleFest. It goes for 4 days and there are 13 different stages set up with all kinds of musicians from banjos, guitars,mandolines.. etc...Lots of Good TALENT. Featured each year is a popular singer musician...........and what is calle Hillside Hour Album- where 1,000s of people sit on a hillside and listen to the BEST music you will ever hear!  You can check it out at www.merlefest.com---I am sharing this with anyone who likes to travel around to different festivals all over the USA. This one is in NC about a 2 hours drive from Charlotte, NC. IT IS well worth going to.  We take our Aliner Camper and stay where they bus up to the event and all...The whole college town rears up for this event and it is very well done. This is the second year I have gone to it and I will go every year as long as I can still walk.....Just sharing with anyone interested..... My favorite bands are The Waybacks and The Kruger Brothers.....Dolly Pardon was there one year along with Randy Travis... The festival is in honor of Merle Watson  where you can read about the story of him and his dedication to music to make you smile...  Enjoy...

Hi.  I have a weird, random question.  Does anyone remember watching the TV game show called Video Village between 1960-62?  I googled it because the cobwebs in my memory bank said there was such a show.  There was!!  Anyone?
