The mission of Mark Twain Student Support Center is to provide excellence in alternative educational opportunities, vital to diverse learners requiring support in academic and social interactions.

Elementary School PAL (Positive Alternative Learning)
Time: 8:00am-2:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Friday dismissal at 11:30am
Location: MTSSC
Ideal Student Capacity: 8-10 students per class
Student Profile: Grade Levels K-6
Purpose of Program: Continue education through general studies for students that have been placed in alternative setting from their home school.
Additional Supports: Aggression Replacement Training, Morning Gathering, Thursday Behavior Intervention.
Teachers: Forbis K-3rd, Hogan 4th – 6th
Total Program Capacity: 20 students
Transportation: Will be provided
Elementary School PAL Suspension K-6 (Positive Alternative Learning)
Time: 8:00am-2:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Purpose of Program: Continue education through on-line coursework necessary for students to pursue a high school diploma. Teachers will introduce students to Edmentum and mentor through its entirety.
