Lonnie and I were Great friends.  With our last names being so similar, everyone assumed we were brothers.  Lonnis and I along with Dean Murphy, Tony Bess, Angelo Squroi, Craig Martin and many others played ALOT of street Hockey !

I was home on leave from the Navy when Tony Bess found me and told me about the tragedy.  I attended the funeral service.

I still miss ya buddy !

Lonnie Lowe was one of my close friends growing up in Florissant. We both went to Mark Twain Elementary together, We both loved to play street hockey with all of our other friends like Kevin Loewe, Dean Murphy, Craig Martin. Lonnie was always the one to make us all laugh with some of his Jaques Plante goaltending impersonations. His family took a bunch of us on a boating trip on the river one year for his birthday. Lonnie's death left a empty feeling in our hearts. But when I drive in the old subdivision where we grew up I always go by Lonnie's old house and smile remembering a time that was special to all of us. We will always remember you Lonnie ....
