04/29/08 10:16 PM #101     Lori Hames (Heikkinen) The class of '78 was special as evident in our wonderful reunion. So great to see everyone. And I've thought about why we think we're so special and I've decided it's because we as a class were open to crossing the social boundaries that usually exist in high school. I had friends who were ropers, dopers, socials, jocks, freaks, do-gooders, etc. and I think the genuine acceptance (and tolerance sometimes) we had for each other was pretty cool. Everyone seems to embrace the class in the same way after 30 years. Great idea about meeting at homecoming-I'm in.
