Comments:

What a life! I'm sure everyone has a long strange trip, but I can't believe I am full circle back here to Franklin. I did not enjoy living here nor going to school here, but maybe it was partly my upbringing. I made a success of my life, became a bigwig at Mitsubishi and went to Japan 3 times, had so much fun and then moved to my favorite place in the world, Daytona Beach, Florida. I lived right on the ocean and as sweet as that is, I gave it all up for my grandkids.
I am so sad to see that some of my best friends in school have passed away. I was very close to Debi Beatty, Paula Carpenter, Mark Matney. I would love to know what happened to them. Donna Bernard was my very best friend for many years and I still miss her.
I am happy in my life now and trying to make the world better.

Do you have a favorite school story to share?

Too much and too personal to put here right now. I would love to think about this and write things later.
I think school is a painful place for kids with little money or from the wrong side of town. I remember being made fun of by people that I thought were my friends because of my clothes (the fact that I only had a few outfits). I don't ever remember feeling that I fit in anywhere, with any school group. High school is really a judgemental place and we are all not emotionally grown up, whether we are the ones looking down or the ones who are looked down on.

Update 2018
I retired from the State of Florida 2 years ago, and now travel frequently with my husband on his trucking job. In between trips, I'm with my grandsons and this year I became a great grandmother from my oldest granddaughter Mackenzie. Kimberly is one week old, I will be traveling to meet her after her mom and northern family all get acquainted with her.

Biggest crush in high school:

You know I cannot remember, I think one guys name was Kendall. Oh yeah my "one true love" was David Johnson. I guess I probably wouldn't recognize him if I saw him now.

What was your favorite car in 1972?

A green with white racing stripes, 68 or 69 camaro. The boxey kind with a square front and back. Still my favorite car!
