Jill Glaser

BA from American University; JD from IIT/Kent College of Law, 1979; Practiced commercial litigation and corporate law for 10 years; Certificate in Makeup Artistry, Columbia College-Began new career as a freelance media makeup artist, primarily for commercial shoots.
Founded Make Up First School of Makeup Artistry in 2006 in Chicago IL.
First to be married and divorced from our class! Remarried in 1982; marriage lasted 23 years.
Raised three daughters in the western suburbs, divorced again, moved to the city, married for the third and last time in 2010.

My best friends from HPHS were Lauren Kretchmar and Karen Mills. Honestly, our best times were just hanging out at each other's houses, eating roast beef and american cheese slices, between two pieces of rye toast. I don't even remember what we talked about, but we would sit at the table for hours, making and eating these sandwiches, one-by-one. Sometimes we'd swim at the beach across from Lauren's house.
I also remember when an upper classman broke up with another of my friends, telling her that she "bit the apple". To this day, I really don't know what that means!
