After graduation, I went to UofH-Downtown part time for a year and was working. I then went to San Jacinto College for a few years (1999-2001 & 2002-2003). I changed majors twice and still do not know what I want to major in or if I am going back? I got married in 2002 - got divorced in 2004 (that marriage lasted way too long). Then got re-married in April 2009 to a wonderful man. We live in the country and ride horses, plant our own vegetables, fish, hunt, go dancing - just love country living. I can't imagine going back to the city to live - only to shop.

I was glad to have been a part of the Cinco de Mayo program for 2 years (1992 & 1993) - it was a lot of fun. I remember I use to hang out with Fernando Reyes in school - he was the funniest guy I have ever met. He and I were great friends and I still think about our fun times in the lunch room.

I was in Spanish Club for a year and Art Service Club for a few years. Love Miss Bibee and Mrs. Chong. I played sports (softball) but not for the school since they didn't have softball at the time.

3-C's ... oh my goodness that was the place to be (but we were really not suppose to be there) - and the warehouse (watching bands practice) ... we hung out at Eddie's lot quite a bit as well.
I remember we use to drive up and down Irvington and all the guys hanging out at the carwash - fun times.

My weekends were consisted of pretty much hanging out with my friends and finding places to go hang out with other Sam Houstonians.

I know I have changed my attitude. I no longer take anything for granted. I am more calm and mild tempered now then before. I also am more religious as well. My appearance has changed quite a bit. My wavy hair is a thing of the past and I lost some weight since then :-)

I've learned that parents are right (most of the time). Had I listened to my mother, father and friends parents I would not have made some stupid mistakes.

Although school may be borning at times, it is part of your life and you have to make the most of your time at Sam - make it memorable. Have fun but be responsible and careful when doing so. Life is short so don't take unnecessary risks. Don't give in to peer pressure - that almost always leads to serious consequences.
