Had some of the best times of my life while attending Sam Houston, thankful for all of the good friends that i made while attending Sam.

What song reminds you most of your high school years at Sam Houston?

All of Elvis' - and all of the blues during that time.

Were you in any SHHS clubs or on any SHHS sports teams?

Booster Club, Christian Student Union, Archery Club

Did you have any favorite SHHS teachers?

Miss Jeanine Blankenship - Art, Mr Constantino-Math , Mrs Lee P E , Mrs McLure-Math, Miss Redditt -P E, Mrs Prestwood -History, Mr West -Sceince, Looks like all of my teachers were my favs.

What were your favorite hangouts in high school?

Little Jims, across the street from school before and after class, and of course Princess Drive in at nite...

What would have been a typical weekend for you in high school?

Rainbow Roller Rink, then of course all the sock hops, Woodland Park, Rocking R Ranch, Dodson Lake for swimming, and Melrose Park for the private parties

Who do you think has changed the most since high school?

Well i think 50 yrs changes all of us. and the whole world has changed, we went to school in the good old days, when chewing gum in class and fighting was about the worse it could get..

What has been your biggest lesson you've learned in life since high school?

To be thankful for each day we have on this earth, especially thankful for good health.. We haven't been promised tomorrow.........

What, if anything, would you pass on to the future Tigers, and those getting ready to begin their lives after SHHS?

Learn all you can, take nothing for granted. No one can take a good education away from you...
