Saturday (Yesterday) at Schott Park was a Blast!

Thanks to everyone that came out and had a picnic with us. Getting together with Close Friends we consider Family, visiting with friends we don't see very often, and meeting new classmates we never met before. I'm just getting home (Centerville Tx)  but will get the sign in sheets and the tickets given out to see if we can let you know a total on attendance. I know there had to be over a 100 there. Will post pictures ~ there will be more to come.

If you attended the picnic and took pictures , Please post and share with us!

Thanks Everyone ~ Judy

Judy...We had a great time yesterday at the picnic. So much fun I lost my voice from all the talking with friends. I did not sign in for my husband. I don't know if Shirley did either or Tom and his wife. I hope others that had their spouses with them signed them in. Lots of people! Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Thanks Judy and Bobby for all the hard work.

So glad all of you had fun... I know I sure did!!

I'm still going through the sign in sheets, we have over 150 for sure but I did notice some had not put in the Husband or wife and a couple of Ladies had their grown daughters drive them so we want to count them as well, I will work on it again tonight., ( I still have a full time job) Please thank your Husband again for all his help.

Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon!! Judy

Lindy Hosford (Proske) (1971)

I was wondering if anyone knows if my half brother, Michael Hosford, Class of 1968, still lives in California? He last called me in 1997 and did not give me any contact information. Thank you.

Question for you Galveston "insiders" (LOL).  Where do you recommend a visitor go for the best seafood?  We new a few places "off" the seawall years back but haven't been back in way too long.  Thanks!!

Susan Lott (Polk) (1965)

We ate at Guidos.  Don't know if you knew JC Polk. His brother John1962 and I are married. The water was blue last time we went to Galveston.  Had a good time. Storms took out the hotel over the water.  The covered fishing at the end of their pier was our favorite place to fish. We'd take the kids there. Ike took out a lot of Galveston's old places on the sea wall.  Bolivar was wiped out.  Roll Over Pass is filled in.  My brother Ronald "Ronny" Lott had passed before Ike. Only good thing he didn't suffer the loss of our favorite pass time.

Debbie Vollert (Campbell) (1971)

We were just there two weeks ago. Shrimp & Stuff is great for lunch. Katie's Seafood House was excellent.  We preferred the dinner menu over the lunch menu.

The Bryan Museum has a Billy Gibbons display. It has items from his entire career. It made me wonder if I ever saw him in a pre-ZZ Top band at the SPJST lodge.
