Marie Brewer Payne

After graduating in 1970, I lived in Germany for several years. Upon returning to the USA, I was employed by Campbell Orthopedic Clinic in Memphis. During this time, I had this craving desire for a closer relationship with Christ. It was revealed to me through studying the scripture that the Seventh-day Sabbath continues and was not done away with. I am a Seventh-Day Adventist worshiper, and a graduate of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. I received my degree in nursing. I am currently a traveling nurse and love every minute of it.

I am constantly reminded of the time when Mr. Robins, my physical education instructor, observed me chewing gum in his class. I was instructed to take the gum out of my mouth. place it on my nose, and the gum should remain on my nose throughout that day, so whenever he saw me the gum would be visible on my nose. Do you think he saw me for the remaining of that day?
