Jackie Fritchey Luttrell

Well I haven’t gotten too far away from Iberia since 1979. I went to Springfield for a couple of years after graduation to attend SMSU. I was terribly home sick & transferred to Lincoln University in Jefferson City for one year. I got married in 1982 to Benny Luttrell (a hometown guy too) & we purchased some property from my grandpa (Gene) & built the house that we are still living in. Our house is only a few hundred feet away from where my parents & grandparents lived when I was born. These days when we’re not working, we spend most of our time playing with our grand-daughter Skyler. We volunteer for some community groups (Lions Club & Community Betterment Association) & we go camping every chance we get with several of our friends. We did venture out of Missouri a couple of years ago & took a cruise to Mexico (13 of us went), it was so much fun we did it again last year. So far, both of our boys are following in our footsteps & have not left Iberia either. Guess we just can’t give up the good life in a small town…..

1981-1993 Worked for various companies of Koplar Enterprises in Lake Ozark Missouri (Four Seasons Lakesites, Resort Air, Lodge of Four Seasons & Four Seasons Group) doing things related to bookkeeping & computer support

In 1993 I decided to take a break from working outside the home & started a bookkeeping & tax service for small businesses out of my house.

Soon after that, my Dad decided he & my brothers needed some office help with the family business & I moved my bookkeeping & tax business to their building in Eldon & went to work at Fritchey Auto Sales until 2000. In 1998 my dad passed away. We leased the business out for a while (which didn't work out to well) & now my younger brother Brandon has purchased the property from the family & is operating Fritchey Auto Sales again (with the help of my youngest son Garrett)

In 2001 - 2010 Started as an Administrative Assistant in 2001 and in 2005 I became the Property Manager for one of their properites (Tan-Tar-A Estates) and I am currently employed with them today.

2010 - Berry Tax Services - Lake Ozark, MO - Provide accounting ant tax services for small business and individuals.

1982-1984 - lived on my in-law's farm in the Bentown/Brumley area

1984-present - built a home on property we purchased from my grandfather in Iberia & are still living there (although Benny keeps trying to get me to move back to the country)

We didn't have much time for family vacations when the boys were growing up. Most of our spare time in the summer was spent on the baseball field. However, we did find time for a few camping trips each year with a group of about 10-15 other families. We camped on various rivers (usually not too far from home) & spent many hours on camping/float trips.

In 2006 a group of 13 of us rented 2 vans & traveled to Galveston & boarded a cruise ship to Cozmel & Progresso Mexico.

In 2007 basically the same group (only 11 this time) rented a small bus & traveled to New Orleans & took the same cruise to Mexico again. We spent a couple of days in New Orleans before leaving on the cruise.
