Buddy had taught my daugther at Kumpf (middle) school in Clark in 1990.  I used to go to the school to have discussions about the 'good old days at Irvingtlon High'.

Buddy lived about 3 blocks from my house in Clark,

I will miss him.

Buddy was my forever All American. Who could forget the brawny crushing fullback that provided hope to those of us at the high school football games of youth. He was a good human being, a great father and husband. I got to know Buddy again w my friend Joel Pitman later in life. There was still the twinkle is his eye, when he would tell me about his first girlfriend and his disapointments in adolescent relationships [the agony of which most would remember]. I saw him the week  prior to his passing and although mortally challenged you could still get to him w memories of those days and his time at Muhlenberg College. Buddy McCutcheon, God Bless.

Wilma Pitman and I attended Buddy's funeral. It was well attended. His son Chuck delivered a poignant eulogy. Many people from his teaching days and Clark. RIP Buddy.
