Finally the sin qua non of high school stories. On a Saturday night Joe Mauriello picking me up for a night out with he an Tony Cicalese. On arrival Joe was there but no Tony. I inquired, "Where is Tony?", Joe replies, "He is not coming and I never liked him, his a %%#**. This struck me as odd since they are good friends. I reply, "I always liked Chick, he is a good guy". Of course Tony is in the back seat on the floor. This story is passed from generation to generation of Pearl Girls as a commentary on integrity.
