Erika, is the daughter of the Interim Exec Dir., at the Rhoda L Martin Heritage Center. She was very instrumental in getting the Chefs for the Night out n the Hill 2010 Event. There is the 2011 Event upcoming January , the evening of the observation of Dr. MLK's Birthday, tickets are 125.00 and worth every penny. You can go to the website for more information.

Yes, Edith Mr. Vick does, he's ahead of Payton, and Brady for the MVP running and he has not thrown an interception this yr. last week at one point he was ten for ten in passing.  The bro is on a mission and if he can keep up the pace, look for him to sign a fat contract next yr.  Dang the falcons miss him, however, Mat Ryan the birds qb is tearing it up as well.

Donnie thanks for the update and telephone # for Lacey.  I was going to see him Monday but was told he'd gone home and I didn't know how to contact him.  I knew someone on this board would come through.

I went by lacy's on Sunday.  He's is staying with his sister in Black Pine.  His spirits were good and just a little tired from his visitors. He say's he needs his friends and everyone's prayers.

For those of you who don't know Lacy, he is an Atlantic Beach and Black Pine icon that has been diagnosed with cancer.  He was a year and a class ahead of me and my cousin Abigail.  He was in the class of 70 with my sister Willetta.  I can't remember a time when Lacy was'nt a part of our lives.  In recent times his detail spot was a meeting spot for people in the neighborhood for cookouts and football gatherings. He loves the Jags and Gators.  His comment to me was "Mutley, I never done anything to anybody."  And as far as I know he's right, i can never remember a time that he crossed anyone.

He's a fighter, and he don't even have to ask, we're praying for you..

Hi classmates  I just spoke to my dear friend, Barbara  Campbell. I traveled to J-ville with her and her husband for the Thanksgiving Holiday and was planning to leave this morning when her Father died unexpectdly. Right now she is still out of it  and devastated about the unexpected  and sudden loss of her Father this morning but is thankful to God that she got the chance to spend what was a very Happy Thanksgiving gathering with the family.  She asked me  to come to the site and ask all of you to keep Barbara ( class 73),  Betty Jo( class of 74)  and the rest of the Campbell  family uplifted in prayer. So please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers .  Thanks Roxanne for keeping us informed and my prayers go out to you and all the Campbell family. I ask that you post the information as soon as it becomes available so that we can support  you all during this difficult time.

Barbara,  Myself, Annette, and Willard went by to see Lacy on yesterday and he was in good spirits and we sat and talked for awhile. In fact he was even making plans to attend the next reunion .  He is definite a fighter!  So please keep him in your prayers also.
