Rex, yeah, I remember when the fellows used to really dress. The young men from today sure can use some pointers.( smile). I get so tired of telling my students to pull their pants up. The other day, a student said to the other , just go ahead and Steve Herkel the pants, so she can stop nagging you.(smile).

One more time for today(smile). I have been receiving a lot of bounced emails for some reason. If you have emailed me on the sight and have not received a reply please email me at Sylexim@aol.com. Also, check your email addresses to make sure you have not left anything out or have any type of typo. I really enjoy receiving my emails and I always like to respond back.

FYI: Our prayers go out to Barbara Campbell Williams and her family. Her father is in the hospital in Orange park where she plans to travel this weekend.

Plans for the reunion are on schedule. The scheduled plans for the weekend are on the home page, to include payment for the three days of events. There have been suggestions made for location, to talent show and additional activities. While all of these are good suggestions, I think you should know that the main committee (Barbara, Sylvia and myself)conference call weekly to plan, and confirm the status of every action and decision made. There is no personal bias or agenda. Every action taken or decision made is made for the best interest of "YOU" the ones that this reunion is all about. Although we would like to include more activities, the activities currently planned and the time alloted for each prevents adding to the current agenda. This also allows us to stay on track with our two primary goals, bringing everyone together and allowing time for us to make the most of our short visit together. In staying on track, I urge everyone to continue to contact classmates in order that they too can become a part of this historic event. For the classes that have not identified someone to be responsible for their classes DVD, please do so. The class of "76" you wanted in, we wanted you in, now where are you ? In closing, I must say that the support of all of the sub-committies (more on that later), the communication between classmates, the on-line pictures and volunteers has been awesome. Let's keep the momentum and "Make It Happen"......

Willard Dudley(1971 ) (1971)

FYI: In January we celebrated the home going of our beloved classmate, friend and relative, Kenneth Ruffin. It was at this service that a small group of us got together and decided that we were tired of meeting and seeing each other only during times of sorrow and loss. we decided at that time to put together a reunion of friends, classmates and many relatives long lost or forgotten. That same day, Sylvia, Barbara and myself decided to get a pad and pencil and start listing a few names. The list started small. A few days later Barbara had a web-site posted, a common connection, and the list kept getting larger and larger. In a very short time the event began to take on a life of its own. The results, as you can see are on the site. As the event grew, we got together and decided to put together a three day event. with certain priorities and goals in mind. Our goal was to get as many of us together as we could. We wanted it to be structured and organized by having something to do for the three days. We wanted it to be fun. Time was reserved Sunday for giving God the glory for allowing us to come together and even bring us to today. The priority was managing everything in a way that allowed maximum time for us to spend time together rehashing old times and catching up on new ones. This meant turning down offers of parades, talent shows, meeting the mayor, the press, publicity and on and on. The three of us agreed on one thing. Life is short, this is about us. Institutions will endure the test of time. This event, this opportunity, for many of us will never pass this way again. So I ask all of you, take advantage of this opportunity, go back in time in your life and relive the memories. Relive all of the events that have brought you to this point. Enjoy this rare moment and opportunity in your life. And most of all thank God for it....

Hello to everyone out there in 144 LAND!(smile)

Just wanted to say that I am so happy to be a part of this event!
This occasion is going to bring back so many memories!

Yeah, Rexy, believe it or not I still have some of those
clothes I use to wear, at least thats what my wife says,(ha ha).

But on a serious note, my family sends their prayers to all the families that has lost a loved one or has a loved one who is sick. I just lost my father-in-law, Junior Morgan in November of '08, so we all need God in our lives, HE IS THE ONLY WAY!

Look forward to seeing all of my former classmates and old(young) friends soon.

God bless all, Coot and Sharon

Quinne Lee, no Coot, man I cannot believe that you had enough time to sit still long enough to put something on a web-site. More than that I cannot believe you could keep still to do anything without.... you know!!!!!!!!!! Man it is good!!!But most of all Thank God We Made It This Far.

My Prayer today is that all who have signed on be able to attend. I also pray that those who have family members that are ill, find favor in His Mighty and glorius name

Larry Holsey mentioned the 1971 team that lost in the playoffs to Terry Parker, so I went to the yearbook and found that picture. Then I ended up looking through the yearbook and posted more pictures(smile).
