Since graduation from JHS in 1979 I have been working, raising kids/grandkids which is wonderful. They are the light of my life and Yes, I am a "Grammie"!
I have lived in Christiansburg for 15 years this fall, my husband grew up here. Wayne spent a lot of summer's in Jenkins with his Mother's family. He knew some of the people from my class but we did not meet until 1994.
Together we have raised 7 kids, Yours, Mine and Ours. Who thought I would raise that many kids growing up an only child? Some days I still wonder what was I thinking???....LOL
I started a cake business which grew quicker than I expected and was more than one person could handle alone. So I decided last fall to go back to work and I am currently the Office Manager of Interior's Unlimited in Blacksburg, VA.
Even though my life has changed and I no longer live in McRoberts, it will always be home to me. My parents still live there. My blood will always "bleed green and white" and I still remember the words to On, On Cavaliers! What cheerleader wouldn't!!!
