Jeffery Combs

After high school, I attended college at EKU and UK. I went to Dental School at U of L (sorry Wildcat fans). Upon graduation from U of L, I joined the Army as a Dental Officer, Capt/O-3. I was stationed at FT Hood, TX. After 3 years, I returned to KY and practiced dentistry for about 7 years and remained active in the Army Reserves. I went back in the Army in 1991 and was stationed at FT Campbell, KY and Camp Long, South Korea. Michele and I were married in Nashville, TN in 1992. After a 1 year unaccompanied tour in Korea, I transferred from the Army to the Commissioned Corps of the U. S. Public Health Service where I remain on active duty. In 2003, I was promoted to the rank of CAPT/O-6. The USPHS uses the Navy rank structure. I am currently assigned to the Federal Bureau of Prisons as the Chief Dental Officer for the Federal Correctional Complex in Butner, NC. Michele and I have been blessed with a beautiful and talented daughter.
