Amy Burke Black

It's been a while, but I thought it was time to update my life. As you might have seen, I am now a grandmother of two beautiful little girls. Zoe and Lexi are the twinkle in my eye. It is so hard only getting to see them in the summers.
My son Benjamin is a great daddy and a wonderful composer. I believe him to be the next John Williams.
My baby girl Mikayla is a senior this year. She will be graduating in June and starting her life beyond high school. She is such a wonderful daughter and I don't think I could get along without her. She has grown into a beautiful young lady and I am very proud to be her mom.
Tim is finally on the last leg of his dissertation journey. This year is the writing and research phase and hopefully by year's end we will have a doctor in the house.
We both are still teaching music/choir in Okinawa, Japan. It has been 11 years since we moved from Kentucky. It's so hard to believe that we have been here that long. Sometimes we wish we could move to Europe, but right now we are very blessed to have good jobs.
