Sharon Elkins Sutherland

Attended business college in Lexington, Ky., employed at Horse World magazine and worked up to Managing Editor. Married 1965 - 1989, 1994 - 2009. I have two wonderful children and six beautiful grandchildren, four of them here in Jacksonville, FLA near me. Lived in Woodbridge, Fairfax and Richmond, VA, outside Chicago, ILL, Montgomery, ALA, and New Orleans, LA. I currently enjoy my position with Friends of The Jacksonville Public Library (fjpl.org), and manage a beautiful little bookstore and gift shop inside our main library (jpl.coj.net).

Coach Morgan assigned a small group of us, including George Elkins, to sing "Amazing Grace" in class, which we performed Old Regular Baptist style by having one call out the words, and the others sing them.
