Teaching at Loretto right out of college was definitely a highlight of my career. I will forever be grateful to my dear friend Nelda Gosnell for encouraging me to apply at Loretto. I retired from teaching in 2011 after 29 wonderful years.
School Story:

I often had students that wanted to do independent course work. A student was constructing a chess set and left some rags soaked in a solvent out over the weekend. I received a call from one of the sisters that there had been a small fire in the art room - my first experience with spontaneous combustion!
