After high school, I worked as an office assistant for a life insurance company in Kansas City. I married at age 21 to Rusty Howell, class of 1963. We were married 14 years and still remain friends. For the last four years, I've been dating Tom Franklin (class of 1965). He is a good friend and close companion to me; we have a lot in common. My daughters and grandchildren think the world of him. I spend as much time as I can being with my daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren. I think being around my grandchildren keeps me feeling young. That's a "big" plus!!
