CUMMINGS, Linda (Hastings) After a valiant journey with ALS, Linda passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 3:45 a.m. Linda Suzanne Bremer was born in Du Quoin, Illinois in 1946 to parents Beverlee and Charles Bremer who have predeceased her. Linda was the loving and loyal wife of Tom Cummings, Mama to Hannah Hastings-Fuhr and Adrian, and Sarah Martin and Taylor. Devoted and fun-loving grandma to Naomi, Emma, Lydia, and Asher. Sister and best friend of Carolyn and Frank Boyd and aunt of Aaron (Michele) and Caleb (Kristen). Linda will be deeply missed by Richard and Peggy Hastings. Deepest gratitude to St. Mary's Hospital, the RT staff, doctors, and especially the nurses on the 6th floor. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Linda during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, December 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at Mannheim Mennonite Church, 1494 Bleams Rd. E., Baden N0B 2H0 on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 5 p.m. Children are welcome. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
