James Scott Summitt, age 48, resident of 917 Sharon Dr., Kings Mountain, NC, died August 09, 2008 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late J. D. Summitt. He was employed by Duke Energies in Charlotte, NC as a Process Coordinator. Scott was an avid golfer who loved his family and loved to play the guitar.
