Juanita McSwain Goforth, age 84, resident of 104 Country Creek Drive, Kings Mountain, NC died April 12, 2010 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late John Spurgeon and Margaret Eugenia Little McSwain. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, the late Ben T. Goforth, daughter, Mickie Logan Springs, and brother, Eugene McSwain. She was a retired Public School Teacher, taught for 34 years in Kings Mountain District Schools, she was an inspiration to her students and her students loved her. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain, where she served as Elder and a member of the choir. She was a member of the NCAE , Kings Mountain Women’s Club, and was very active in her community.

Great Grandchildren: Emily Bell and Alec Bell
14 Step Great Grandchildren and 6 Step Great Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION: 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 15, 2010 prior to the service at First Presbyterian Church, Patrick House, Kings Mtn. NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
