Carole Exley (Hollinshead) and I grew up in the same neighborhood, we both played flute in the band, and shared similar names which confused people at times. She was a great friend, caring mother, an elementary teacher, who left us too soon (I believe from an aneurism). Her bright smile and friendly disposition are missed by those who knew her. It probably wasn't easy being the daughter of the junior high P.E. teacher and coach, but she kept her sense of humor. We had the same initials before and after our marriages. I miss her.
