I will always remember John, he was a very nice guy, I admired him greatly as he was always the same at church and at school.  He invited me to my first dance, it remained very special to me.  I only wish I knew how he passed away and where he was living.  I was in Pendleon 40 years ago the last time I saw him and he ran into me at the Bon Marche'. Hi Judy (Wilson)! I'm pretty sure that John was living up around the Seattle area and was a manager for a Sears Store.  Yes John was a very nice person...who came to my house and I remember that he enjoyed playing with model trains.  He was a good friend who played basketball for Central School; first string in the 4th and sixth grade (I remember playing in the 5th grade).  John and I were about the same size and he was a quick guy and I was honered to take his place in the 5th grade but he always beat me the other years (even through jr high).  I don't recall his playing in high school!  He may even been in scouts, but I'm not certain.  I'm sorry not to have any more information about John.  Did he go to college?  Meanwhile I moved to The Dalles and lost track of John.

Please contact me in my Portland home if you know more than I.  In the meantime I'll call Gavin (Lewis) to see if he is able to fill in more blanks.   Oh, I am married to Lynn Eisiminger about eight Years ago (a second one for each of us) and we live at 9082 SE Bristol Park Drive and we would be happy to hear from you...at 503-788-0089 or feel free to call my cell phone at 503-407-2734 (my constant companion).  Sincerely Yours  Joe Sullivan

The list of memories is long.  An early exploit was his hunting success as he had his picture in The LaGrande Observer with a large point elk or buck.  He was the envy of our local hunters.  He was a starting pitcher in Little League and high school and had a nicely controlled curveball that was effect as he was left handed.  I know we played several years of basketball together and he was a terrific team player.  He was a quiet young man who spoke in a deep tone with a slow cadence.  John was well liked by so many people as he was friendly and very sincere.  Peace.

My memory is not that good these days, but I think it was John that was the manager of a store in Camas Wa a number of years ago. It was quite a surprise to run into him. He was one of the best.
